Sanders would have never compromised on anything, the bill would have expanded welfare than cut it or not go thru at all...

Hillary would have done the same, she was still on the right of the bill as she is now on any entitlement, and wants to cut them not expand them to appease conservatives in a 'compromise'. there should be no compromises that harm the oppressed.

this contributed to the higher prison rates, higher homeless rates, higher unemployment, and everything else wrong with the under privileged communities.

Why do you resign blacks to the position of being welfare bums? I think they can do better than that. And indeed they were doing better before Lyndon Johnson's Great Society and the War on Drugs came along and destroyed the black family.
