I think what a lot of people are saying is that this will make it a lot easier for bad things to happen in public restrooms. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen.

Rightwing "boycotts" almost never work. 20 years ago, Pat Robertson called on a boycott by the Religious Right of Disney World because they had a Gay Pride Day at the park....

"oddly", you'll notice that Disney World is still in operation.

35 years before that Jerry Falwell and Anita Bryant called for a boycott of ABC because of having an openly gay character on the sitcom "Soap" (Billy Crystal's char).....despite that "Soap" for 4 more seasons, and ABC was the powerhouse network in the late 70s and early 80s (Love Boat, Happy Days, Mork & Mindy, etc.)

Plus Rightwingers are now TRAINED to have short memories by Rightwing Radio and Fox News....it's how Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly can oppose things that President Obama does in 2010....that they supported wholeheartedly when it was Dubya in 2006.

In a month or two? 99% of these LGBT bigots will have moved on to some "new outrage" and will be whining and complaining about it....

while they're buying paper towels and "God's Not Dead-2" DVDs at Target.

The problem isn't transsexuals in the bathroom...it is all the sex offenders, perverts and

The issue is access (speaking of being disingenuous). Not whether bathrooms at Target are suddenly unprotected when it comes to sex crimes or not. Stop the absurd denials!
Now any man who claims he is really a woman (despite a conspicuous lack of female genitalia) is guaranteed access to women's private rest room facilities by Target and just being in a rest room you do not belong in is a sex crime which, thanks to Target and all the enablers, is now impossible to prosecute
