I heard the FBI directer talk about how the whole ISIS connection is a little odd. I think it is more likely that Iran, or maybe Saudi Arabia could be behind this.
Saudi Arabia is behind what exactly? ISIS declared war on KSA two years ago and has carried out several nasty suicide bombings... plus the Saudis have rounded up over 400 people who were either being groomed as suicide bombers or making bombs. Do you just sit around and speculate? What?

So I guess we can chalk these attacks up to The Obama's failure to defeat ISIS with the greatest military ever. The fake air strike campaign, that 80% of strikes don't drop bombs, is only popular with leftist tools and ISIS supporters. So how about Iran? They would never do such a thing to gay/Americans. When there leaders chant "death to America" that doesn't seem to bother the America hating left. Perhaps it motivates them to give Iran even more.
Let me be clear... I despise Obama, Kerry, Iran, and the whole rotten "nuclear deal". It will do little but GUARANTEE that Iran will have nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles to deliver them with, probably within ten years. That said, I don't think Iran wants to get involved with "sleeper cells" inside the United States! Why not? Well, for one thing, Iran is governed by a Shi'a theocracy, and they hate the Sunni Muslims almost as much as they hate us "Infidels". Iran's governing Islamic priesthood would not want to do anything to help ISIS, because ISIS, like the ruling Islamo-faction in Saudi Arabia, is Sunni! Besides, why would Iran want to get us pissed off at them when they are milking this incredibly one-sided, indefensibly stupid "nuclear deal" that has brought them billions of dollars? Why run the risk of making Americans mad at potential Iranian terrorists when America's attention is focused only on ISIS and Sunni terrorists? So, no, I don't see the creation of Iranian "sleeper cells"... not at this time. The Iranians may put a thermonuclear hydrogen bomb in the middle of Washington D. C. in about ten years, but at this point some dinky "sleeper cells" wouldn't be a good strategy for the insane, but very clever bastards running the show in Tehran....
Iran used the equivalent of sleeper cells in Iraq to kill American servicemen with ambushes and car bombs. Why wouldn't they do the same thing over here if they got the chance? They might nuke us one day but they could cause a lot of trouble and blame it on ISIS and the Saudis. It all just adds up to a golden opportunity to cause a lot of trouble and chaos. We don't know who these people are. They could be from anywhere. Remember how surprised everybody was when we first found out that the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia? And we thought the Saudis were our friends.
When Iran's leader chant "death to America, death to the jews" the left just say "oh, they don't really mean that. They would never think of using American money to attack America"

So many things were learned after the 911 attack and so many reacted when a lot of power was vested with NSA, coupled with strict vetting I think there is a slim chance for the terrorists to slip through. But the only problem is to keep that moderate Islamic belief maintained and should not be allowed to migrate towards extremism otherwise we will have 3M problems to contend with if we will fail. Reality is they are already here and they are already covered by US civil laws.
