DT isn't in for more money to buy more things, for him the money is the scorecard. Making big money makes you a big winner (nothing worse than being a loser, and DT should know after all those bankruptcies), being a big winner means you are better, bigger, smarter than those who have less. The big money for DT is in the huge (YUUGE) debts he owes to China and Russia, and the vulnerability that those debts imply. IOW, for DT and those like him, no amount of money is ever enough, they are driven to acquire more and more.

It certainly would be interesting to see how she would prove her charge. Perhaps the biggest reason that no woman has done so, however, is that Trump never did that. The man is a freaking billionaire and never had to grope a woman against her will. Quite the opposite in fact. Being a billionaire he's been the target of opportunistic woman for forever and a day. Not much of anything would surprise me at this point, but I am wondering why nothing ever seems to turn up from these media generated navel gazing sessions.

 

What could Trump do to win them over? What could he do that would do that? What is it they want other than abortions, that's the only straight thing I heard out of them.

 

I have accepted a Drumpf Presidency. I cannot stop it as I cannot stop an earthquake or a hurricane so all there is to do is prepare for it and manage it the best way possible. My advice to any American reading this who does not like Drumpf is to focus on local politics. That's where politics can REALLY make a difference. Ask your city councilors, mayors, state legislators and governors what they are doing to make your life better and what they are doing not in opposition to but as a counterbalance to Drumpf. And if you do not like your local politician, run for office yourself at the local level.

Why the local level? Because local politicians live closer to you and answer to less voters and hence don't rely on big money donors as much. Plus they speak in less platitudes as they are responsible for the most basic things that affect you directly like potholes in roads.

 

For starters maybe trade in Pence for a woman VP?

I didn't support Hillary but I opposed Donald Trump.

I also accept Donald Trump as being the American President as well as the GOP having majority control in Congress.

And that's a problem. Donald Trump rejects being the "American President" and instead is the "Donald Trump President" that only represents himself. The GOP members of Congress reject being the Representatives of the American People and instead only represent the Republican Party agenda.

My greatest concern is that individually or combined they will take actions that are damaging to the United States as a whole, damaging to the world, or both, and that those actions will be irreversible in the future.

Before the sun set when Trump took office the White House links on the environment, LGBT issues, and civil rights had already been removed. This leaves serious doubt in America about the protections already won for each of these.

The Department of Justice, after successfully having the Texas "Jim Crow" racist Voter ID law struck down with the Appeals Court, asked for a delay in addressing whether the law was intentionally designed to target and disenfranchise black voters, presumably that's Trump's Attorney General can reverse the government's position to allow these racist Republican voting laws to stand.

Donald Trump has already issued an executive order for the federal government to stop following the law's requirements for the PPACA (Obamacare) in violation of his oath of office and the Constitution. .

I would highly suggest that everyone do what I've already done. Become a sustaining member of the ACLU because it's going to have a huge burden in fighting for the Rights of the American people that have became seriously threatened with the election of Donald Trump but even with their help Trump can do irreparable damage to the United States and the World.

 

The entire point of being a president is doing what he thinks is right for the country, not what you think is right for the country. That's what he was elected for. Lest we forget that his agenda of winning, jobs, better trade, border and law enforcement, foreign policy changes etc is geared for all americans, even if you disagree with it.

So was our [justifiable and justified] concerns during the last 8 years, did not seem to stop Obama and the libs and our concern did not seem to bother you one iota. Now you really expect us to care?
