MSNBC Anchor Admits "Our Job" Is To "Control Exactly What People Think"

It's kind of cute to watch the Liberals disavow their own lying ears.

 

Amazing that these people will distort and contort things to make what Donald Trump said about "what happened in Sweden last night"...seem reasonable...

...but to see this cut off comment reasonably is beyond them.

Irrelevant. Their ratings are subterranean. Telling me they wouldn't jeopardize their profitability by pursuing a highly ideological agenda is rather pointless when that's precisely what they've already done.

 

Considering their viewership, it will be some short work.

It is obvious she made a mistake...thinking one thing and saying another.

I hope she has more spine than Donald Trump showed...and acknowledges that what she said came out wrong.

 

When you are that specific, it didn't come out "wrong". She meant what she said and what her and all her Liberal Media buddies talk about at their parties. They think it is exactly their job to control the thought of the masses. They are the "elite" Liberals that know what is best for everyone else.

Now, she will likely come out and make a claim that it was "out of context" or she "misspoke", but all the honest minds know that she said what she meant, and mean what she said.

 

That's exactly what Roger Ailes has always believed.

 

I think she was lucid and clear on what she meant. Perhaps she didn't mean to broadcast it, but it's what the left wing MSM believe, heart and soul.

The right-wing is known for its "creative" editing. Unless you have the full clip of the segment, we have to assume that this is just more right-wing propaganda.

So if it's someone on your side then you demand that "honest minds" should suspect she did not mean what she actually says, but when it's someone like Donald Trump it's totally ok for your side to go bat (*)(*)(*)(*) insane when he says something like "Russia should look into Hillarys emails" and act like he literally meant what he said. So I was at work today and while I was able to read the thread, I was unable to play the tape. No biggie, I'll just peruse the posts and when I get home I'll see for myself what the context was, see about the interruption. But it' really was as bad as I thought it would be. She wasn't interrupted, she stopped and Joe popped into the conversation. Joe wasn't talking over her, she stopped and he started. So calling it an interruption - well, didn't seem like that to me at all. So I'm looking at this as if she said what she wanted to say, and that was that. Now tomorrow, after someone at MSNBC sorts thru their e-mails and realizes they made a major faux pas, someone will have to attept to say that they didn't mean to say what they said - and that should be good for a few laughs.

Problem: They've already delegitimized themselves. They could hide it to a point, but after the last election where it was painfully obvious they were all in the tank for Hilla, any question of objectivity went out the window. Look, we had a number of posters who swore that Hill would win, and I don't bean a couple times, it was every damn post. And now they look pretty foolish. It's the same with the media that believed in the polls. It's bad enough that they were wrong, it's worse that they took a side instead of being objective and simply sticking to the facts. No, they had to go out and openly campaign for her and then got burned when they lost. And there you go: The press wasn't supposed to "lose", they were supposed to remain neutral and report what they saw, report the story - not become a part of it. The moment they decided they should do that, any aura of them being an actual press agency disappeared, to be replaced with the aura of being DNC agents. The press corps is no longer seen as any kind of agency looking for the facts, now it's just a group of people with a narrative looking for facts that will fit their schema - and if the facts they find don't fit, those facts must be discarded. It's sad that this is the way it is - but it IS what it is. What it looks like is that, especially since no one seems to have called her out on it at the time: this journalist simply said what they were all thinking - and agreed with.

Now tomorrow? Yeah, they'll be some "clarifications", if only to staunch the PR bleeding. I doubt anyone will believe them, but - *shrugs*

Well, I do know several liberals who do watch it. I've actually theorized that Rush is secretly bankrolling the show so that he can have an easy target to make fun of. Considering that MSNBC loses money faster than I am following my investment in the Kim Kardashian School of Chastity for Young Women, it seems a reasonable theory.

Well, a liberals said it. It wasn't made up. It looks like a legit complaint. I can't see why you're blaming the right when a leftist said what she said, and the other leftists on the show did not argue about it. Also, you're not doing your argument any favors when you complain about conservatives deflecting and yet you deflect to FOX News twice in the very same post.

Well, I just asked my wife who makes 500K annually in real estate and my son, the 800k computer programmer about all that, and they agreed with me that you're making a poor argument. And as someone with both a surgical and legal licence, I have to say it isn't looking good.

This thread and today was another horrible showing for Liberals and their media. More and more Independents and less than hardcore Democrats are going to abandon the Progressives and their lies, screwed up ideology, and attempts to control others through the media, regulations, and courts. The left is far far far in the back seat and people like Mika and the Liberals in this thread denying what everyone can see with their own eyes and hear with their own ears are be marginalized more and more each day.
