The Bush Jr. thing did not impress me either. That document is meant to be upheld in the highest manner. Especially with so many men and women who vow to die to defend it.

Sure thing, must be why the left continues to attack free speech and religious liberties.

I know they do. Which is why it is disgusting when some show such blatant disregard for it. Or only pick the parts of it that they like while minimizing others. Both sides do it and it's the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

Got bite by a brown recluse a couple of times. So after some serious medication regiments, I'll be alright. Sorry for sounding b**chy. I blame the pain meds.

Were you gardening at the time? We have a good gardening thread going on in here...

Get well soon, and watch out for those addictive painkillers they've been throwing around like candy. Aleve really does work for 12 hours.

Like this thread, that's just a bunch of BS thrown up against the wall to see if it would stick.

Guy retracted the claim 6 years ago, and yet for you it is gospel truth.

The OP title is a flat out lie. Nothing new about that from some Democrats on the forum. It seems that is all they got.

#FAKENEWS: Trump Trance Strikes Again: Trump Says ‘Senate Rules,’ Left Hears ‘Constitution.’ “You know, I’m honestly starting to think that Trump has actually driven a lot of people to madness.” Well, to be fair, most of them were close enough to walk.

Plus: “In any case, it really is more of the Trump Trance effect: Trump says something, and people decide he said something else, even — by careful manipulation of context and straight out misquotation — apparently quote him as saying something else. And people believe it, and — if you were to look at my Twitter feed — get really angry when it’s pointed out it’s just not true.”

They need Trump to be as awful as they think he is, or all their crazed #resistance just looks crazed and tawdry. Which is what it is.

Most non-military-background, educated people tried to get out of that. It was an unpopular war and most of us didn't understand why we stepped in when France decided to step out.

But I thought Trump always wanted a Purple Heart. Maybe he can put himself in for one for his bone spurs, if he can remember which foot he supposedly had them in.

I never read that-"behavioral problem" was all I ever saw written. I assumed he could have had ADHD. Such people seem to notice everything simultaneously, which is what he seems to do.

Bone spurs can be very painful and even dangerous if they cause infection.

That's why I quoted it as "the story". It was totally credible though and IMO he probably did say something like that at one point or another--he certainly didn't act like he respected it. But I loathed and still loath that loathsome creature. I felt ill the entire time he was president.

At least Obama was intelligent, well spoken, and likable, and had some genuine beliefs, even if his heart was one with Islam.

Sure, some idiots try to censor certain speakers at certain universities, and I don't like it (just like I don't like conservatives censoring books), but it's technically not a violation of free speech. Free speech doesn't entitle you to a platform at a private university.

And what's this about violating religious liberty? You're free to practice whatever religion you want. Just don't use your religion to suppress medical research or abortion, and don't expect us to roll over when religious people attempt to thwart science education with their "intelligent design" nonsense.

    PS

Why are atheists still barred from holding office in several states? According to the Constitution, it's unlawful to require a religious "test" of any kind as a prerequisite for holding office.

Obama's heart wasn't "one with Islam."
