Why argue with a Ten Year old ?

It all seems rather pointless or fruitless.

He most likely lives in a Fruitopian Republic.

And yet they do, despite there being no legal avenues available for them to acquire firearms from. Lamenting about how if only criminals did not have access to firearms will not change what is fact, therefore there is no point in wasting any time talking about such.

Then why has such not resulted in a significant drop in drug-related crimes, when there are no legal avenues available that facilitates the acquisition of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, or any number of other illicit narcotic substances? Where are such being acquired in the united states?

Nothing that has been presented has done anything to explain how the number of firearms possessed by criminals, or acquired through illegal means, would be reduced by any measure. Explain how a lack of legal firearms would do anything to make the jobs of law enforcement officers safer.

No, my post history has been critical of laws allowing for the sale of, in particular, the AR15. I haven't said anything about which party is in, or should be in, control, nor have I differentiated between the access this allows for criminals vs law abiding citizens. I don't think they, AR15s, should be available to either.

If such were to come to pass, thees clubs would become targets of robbery, as everyone would know that firearms are being kept there, in a centralized location. The criminal element has been caught on video breaking an entering into licensed firearm retailers to steal their inventory, by means of ramming vehicles right through the building. Clubs and such would be no different, making it a poor notion to even consider.

    How about Ruger Mini-14s?

Or M1 Garands, for that matter?

NRA Commentary Admits The Odds Of Needing A Gun To Defend Yourself Are Infinitesimal
Shocking Admission Cuts Against Years Of NRA Fearmongering

    Blog ››› October 21, 2015 10:49 AM EDT ››› TIMOTHY JOHNSON
    [IMG]

A new commentary video from the National Rifle Association admitted that the odds of needing to use a gun for self-defense are exceedingly small while still promoting the ownership of firearms for self-defense.

The admission was made on the NRA's Noir web series, a show hosted by gun blogger turned NRA News commentator Colion Noir. The series is part of the NRA's increasing efforts to appeal to a younger demographic.

The October 20 edition of Noir opened with Noir playing the role of a magician as he laid out a deck of 52 cards in random order. After the skit ended, Noir said, "There are 318.9 million American citizens. The odds of you and me needing a gun to protect our lives is not that much better than Colion the Incredible putting these cards back in the exact order."

    ************************

F.Y.I. Colion Noir does not work for, or represent the N.R.A. in any way.

I know you consider us Americans to be foreigners, so your argument is a moot point.

Most armories are not very easy to break into; that along with the appropriate alarms fed to the police will prevent most, if not all burglaries. the likelihood of theft would be very low.

Well for one it would drastically reduce your child injury rate

And it is what Australia does

We seem to manage without our hands constantly fondling our weapons

What about single shot rifles/handguns of designs other than bolt action? Double barrel rifles/shotguns? Silencers? Do you have any good reason to believe any of these types of firearms are hazardous enough to justify a ban?

Do you have a magic wand to make nearly half a billion guns disappear?

    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-05-26/source-of-illicit-guns-in-australia/6483762

What type of change? What happens to the nearly half a billion guns owned by over 100 million legal gun owners and the hundreds of thousands of illegally possessed guns?

why-just because you are afraid of guns why project that on the rest of us. I like having my firearms at home so I can work on them when need be. and I like the idea that I can defend my family from Criminals or control freaks who want to harm me or mine

LEO's who support strict gun control should be stripped of their badges and prevented from ever having any authority over other individuals.

I own guns to keep people like you from trying to impose that idiocy on me. We will note you want to make working conditions safe for violent criminals. There is a great poster I saw at a gun club mostly run by veterans.

    it reads like this

How do you answer that question?

That 100 year old bolt action 03-Springfield rifle without a scope can reach out and touch you from 1,000 yards away.
