    Matt Lauer Will Not Get Severance Pay From NBC

    After being fired “for cause,” disgraced “Today” host won’t be compensated beyond final day of work

    I guess that rape button under his desk he used to lock the door violated one of those silly policies or something.

    Matt Lauer will not be getting any sort of a severance payout from NBC News, TheWrap has confirmed — regardless of what was left on his lucrative and longterm contract.

    The disgraced “Today” show anchor was officially fired “for cause,” per an executive, which means he won’t be compensated beyond his final day of work.

    If you don't know what is normally contained in severance packages it's ok; just say so, no one is going to criticize you.

    His employer already said, he gets nothing! If he wants to take them to court, open himself up to discovery and then lose, by all means, continue.

    So you don't have a copy of his labor contract. That means you have no idea what is contained in the severance clause. Thank you for proving me right.

    What possible difference could it make? The key to this whole thread is "he gets nothing, zip, nada, zilch, nuttin'."


    Not to mention employment packages are individual when you get to Lauer's level. It's not exactly like he's one of 20 janitors caught sleeping on the job.

    Come on...don't tease us. Tell us...exactly WHAT was in Matt's "severance package"? Be specific. You seem to think you know something the rest of us don't, so please share. Tell us, please.

    Actually I think your logic is wrong. I think it would be smarter for companies to hire women because we don’t sexually harass men
    I like your suggestion telling me to keep the guards up at work. That’s exactly what women have been trying to tell you. Looks like a man a learning a lesson
