The scene: racist / anti-Semitic guy gets rush to the hospital after a car accident, the EMT's in the ambulance are black and they work hard to stabilize him, at the hospital, which is primarily Jewish, a black doctor is his surgeon, and saves his life, he remains at the hospital for a month, with his primary nurses being a Jew and a black man, and he gets regular transfusions of blood from both black and Jewish donors.

He owes his life to these people. How humbled ? Anyone's guess.

Only the sick and dumb would say such "allegations" are true and the man is not alive to defend himself. The same sick and dumb are the one's protecting Roy Moore though in that case there are eye witnesses and accusers. Sick and dumb alright.

I have always suspected, and have yet to be proven wrong, that racists have little else to bolster thier sense of self worth. In other worlds they have not personal accomplishments, nothing they can be proud of, they have such a low opinion of themselves that they need to hate another group just to get some small degree of self esteem

Some of the most accomplished men in the history of Western civilization had what you would consider "racist views" in your post WWII culturally Marxist worldview.

You're so right Henry Ford was a total loser. His book 'the international Jew' was clearly written as an attempt to divert folks attention away from his own failures.

 

However you size it up, MLK Jr was a great man in terms of social justice. More people should listen to what he said, including blacks. Maybe particularly blacks.

 

Henry Ford was an exorbitantly successful man - but went nutty overall in his old age - with Ford management begging his son to take over. He also was a racist. In that era, nearly everyone was - regardless of their race.

 

And then your generation was born and knew better about everything, right? Everybody who came before you was old, antiquated, primitive, unenlightened etc.

 

MLK Jr hated the Vietnam war and that, combined with LBJ only trying to manipulate blacks, plus it Republicans who were passing civil rights laws, would reasonably have had him favoring Republicans.

The US Supreme Court's bizarre busing order had massive political and social effects, redefining the political parties and creating levels of racial hatred that had mostly vanished.

It was a truly bizarre decision. The basis of the case was that money was not spent equally on schools, but overwhelmingly went to white schools - easily done since virtually all communities were very otherwise racially segregated. The Supreme Court ruled it had no jurisdiction to tell states how to spend their money, but that they did have jurisdiction over American children. Therefore, rather than just ordering equality in school spending, they ordered millions of students to be bused to schools outside their own neighborhood, community and town or city. The resulting violence - including in schools - went off the charts. Many high schools literally had to have police stations within the schools. It also gave rise to George Wallace, forcing Republicans to the right to counter act him.

Among the worst and most destructive decisions the Supreme Court ever made, busing was one of those. It also began the intense hatred of federal courts and the Supreme Court ever since.

 

I don't even know what your messages means as it was a fact statement. I was in a Henry Ford museum last month. He was a remarkable man of industry and inventions - amazing for a man of no education nor was he born into wealth.

But his growing wealth became so great he felt he could restructure society itself. He had visions of corporate cities. He insisted no one need a better car than his Model T - giving rise to all his competitors. Overall, ultimately he became a semi-senile control freak. He was a racist in an era in which nearly all people were. In virtually every society on earth and in the USA, interracial marriages were minimally extremely socially taboo or outright illegal.

You can deny history if you want to. My message was not judgmental about Ford at all, just fact statements. What do you claim I stated above is factually inaccurate?

Ok, so what happened between then and now? Almost everyone was racist back then, there were social taboos and/or laws against interracial marriages, world changing figures like Henry Ford had views that would make him a pariah in today's society, etc. Why did all of that change? Who changed it? What makes you so sure you are right and they were not?

One of things as a purveyor of all matters political, I have decades of exposure to the American body politic, sane or otherwise.

So when I am reading Alt Right white supremacist crazy claptrap, I know their entrance to belfry has already been crossed.
