You need to open your eyes. Why are your borders open? Why is your women promiscuous? Why are they turning your men into women? Why are they pushing homosexuality on your children and grandchildren?

Don't limit your research and study based on what scary names you might get called when you end up on the other side of that diligent work....

It depends on how you present it, and what you consider anti Semitic.

It seems to me if someone was posting racial slurs about Jews that you could report it and the moderators would do something about that. Are there any instances where you have seen slurs against Jews that were unsubstantiated insults? Criticism of Zionism or something like if there was some presentable case that Jewish Hollywood big shots protected someone like Harvey Weinstein from prosecution because they shared the same religion might have a place in discussion. Sort of like how one might discuss the Christian church covering up and protecting child molestation by their priests as a problem which is not really anti Christian but a recognized problem within the church.

There also seems to be legitimate places here for discussing 9/11 truther conspiracies even though that is a bit of an old dead horse. I don't see there being a huge amount of out of place topics clogging up the area regarding that old topic. If someone wants to join that argument there is a group for it. The admins around here seem pretty responsive and reasonable in regards to offensive or out of place comments. I have not noticed a lot of anti Semitic, but perhaps some people more sensitive to it have seen more of it.

 

It seems to me you have a report button and the moderators police offensive comments like that pretty well. They do not need users getting into verbal flames with the racists. Just because someone posts a racist comment does not mean we get to mung up the place shouting names at them until the moderators clean up. You do not get to break the rules because someone else does. You report and go on with life, not get into a shouting match with someone else and make cleanup harder. It is called remaining civil and yes it applies to both sides.

That does mean to a certain extent we have to suck it up and move on over a nasty piece of racism and give the mods a chance to apply the rules and have faith that it will be cleaned up. It does suck extra bad for the people who get hit with the insults to have to deal with that pain and annoyance until the problem is cleaned up and booted. You could post something positive that you are not racist and appreciate people different than you. You do not have to kick the racist to say inclusive things.

 

They, like those others you mentioned (although those not near what AIPAC has) actually do have an enormous amount of influence in US policy.
realize it’s not all decisions made, just the ones most important to them.

Critics like me do not want their influence abolished, merely scaled back. It’s too one sided in the ME as far as I’m concerned.

So if, say, a "son of god" sends all Jews to brutal barbaric torture, then in keeping with your disgust of anti-Semitism, you'd, to be intellectually consistent, condemn said "son of god", Dayton? Makes sense to me. How about you?

 

Then maybe you should start your own forum where you can make all the rules...Otherwise, just avoid the topics that you find offensive and injurious. I really like this forum and find that the rules and guidelines are reasonable and fair.

 

There is also a lot of anti African American, anti Mexican, anti White Nationalist and anti Muslim rhetoric on the forum. Jews are no better than anyone else and as far as I am concerned they are also fair game.

The difference between domestic lobbies that are considered effective (NRA, AARP, NAACP etc) and foreign lobbies that are considered effective (AIPAC, ADL etc) is, obviously, the country to which that lobby & its supporters are most loyal.
The NRA, AARP, NAACP etc all work for the interests of Americans while AIPAC etc & its supporters are loyal to the interests of a foreign government.
America's unconditional support of almost any & every Israeli war crime, act of aggression & UN Violation is not in the long term best interests of either country & has earned the US the enmity of virtually the entire Islamic world.
