How about a compromise. We arm school teachers at Trump rallies. Show your teacher's union card, and you get to bring a gun.

 

So, as long as we're keeping live ammo out of classrooms, it seems absolutely ridiculous to arm teachers, even from the point of view of the "we're going to shoot the bad students" crowd.

The "gun-free zone" meme is bullshit. It's a smokescreen. And everyone with more than half a brain knows it. It's misdirection intended to divert attention away from the larger problem and keep everyone focused on the small problem of school shootings so that nothing will be done and more and more guns can keep being sold.

In other news, apparently there have been 438 injuries & 138 tragic deaths in school shootings since 2012....leading to screams to ban AR-15's because they are so dangerous.

For a bit of perspective........nearly 43,000 people are injured each year and 349 deaths from TV's tipping over between 2000 - 2011 Maybe we should ban black TV's?
