Congress can pass anything, that doesn't mean I take it seriously. If they want to make it so that only US ISP's access our servers, then they should do that. But that'd be actually doing something about the problem instead of biatching and making themselves look like idiots.

Wow really? Was that the same for Obama? Nixon?

This has to be one of the most batshit crazy things I've ever read here!

What an absolute bunch of horseshit. My god.

Does this author fashion himself to be some perversion of Tyler Durden? This is the lamest thing I have ever read.

"Trump has shown that the leaders of our government do not particularly like our country. People who describe "America First" with deplorable words such as racist, Islamophobic, and xenophobic are not our servants, but rather those who want to rule us."

How can you be "America First" while targeting everything that isn't lily-white? This country is made of us... Always has been. Go eat your ****ing taco salad in your golden shower, I mean tower.

"Trump has shown that the FBI, Department of Justice, and our national security agencies are corrupt and trying to undermine a duly elected government. The Deep State is real, if incompetent."

100% conspiracy theory written in broad strokes. What a joke. Nothing short of the vilification of the entire government to give Trump foil-thin cover for being a total idiot. His motives are so unbelievably transparent.

"Trump has shown that they have sold out our national sovereignty in favor of globalism and open borders. The Republican Party which had embraced protectionism in 1854, when they formed the party, abandoned it when President George H.W. Bush declared a New World Order in 1991."

Another fever dream written by a person choosing to ignore the axiom that countries with McDonald's don't bomb each other. As with everything complex, there is a desirability quotient. Globalism has benefits and detriments. To pretend that protectionism and nationalism are going to cure every US ill... Seriously, put down all the pills. This guy is a moron.

"Trump has shown that neither political party cares about the working class. Trade deficits with China have accelerated the gutting of America's heartland, as factories shutter. Washington could not care less."

Hey Microchip! Gimme my job back! Pfffffft.

I can't even read anymore of this basement letter dwelling drivel.

So, just wish other GOP members would speak up--I couldn't care less what the loser Gringrich has to say--
But as long as this thread has been derailed-let's talk about recent events here---
Does anyone else wonder why the Crown Prince of Arabia has been (once to trump tower, without notifying the OBAMA of the visit) & now a 3rd visit to the White House in 14 months?
Does anyone else wonder how trump's idea of giving the death penalty to drug dealers will play out? Does that include the "drug makers" ( Big Pharma)
Are any of you trump fans holding trump accountable to first denying Stormy Daniels claim about their affair & now trump has signed the NDA with both his fictitious name David Dickerson & Donald J trump to sue Stormy for 20 million in Federal Court---mmmm-folks he lied to you---
Any of you trump fans going to hold trump accountable to hiring Cambridge Analylitica & trump's campaign guru Steve Bannon to steal 50 million peoples data ?
Any of you trump fans in the least concerned that trump violated campaign election laws?

It was the same thing(until Nixon orchestrated an armed robbery, a high crime and misdemeanor.) What's batshit crazy is the lack of reading comprehension on the forum. The Constitution is a piece of paper. By itself, it carries no authority. Sure, it says you should do this or you should do that, but what obligates you to do that? Because it says? No one logically would be compelled by such a thing and obviously the Founders weren't that stupid.

The Presidency was created to enforce the enactment of the Executive Branch. Justices were created to ensure that the laws were followed as written, and for any disputes to be resolved peaceably in a courtroom. Thus is the separation of branches. The existence of the branches do not however impede the activity of another, the existence of the Constitution does not impede the legal order or authority of the President.

Indeed, without the existence of the President the Constitution doesn't exist. Do you think Congress can hold the same authority? That Congress can absorb all of the executive branch's roles? While people feared when the executive branch would try to take over legislative duties, that is wholly more possible than vice-versa. If the legislature were to try and take executive power, the legislature would fall apart.

They can't even agree on a budget, how will they agree on the execution of EO's?

Yes nothing. What's he supposed to do start WWIII? And the sanctions aren't going to stop Russian cyber attacks if anything they might, if they are real and not just some bunch of loons on the dark web messing about for grins with antiquated Russian programs, exacerbate them. No one stole anyone's data you gave it away. Never put anything on the web you don't want other people to have even five year olds should know that. Nope Stormy's getting sued for libel breach of contract. SAys nothing about whether the one night stand if any ever happened.

Left's in a panic. They've spent the last 8 years weaponizing the federal government -- and then they gave the keys to Donald Trump.

This is why we all need to focus on restraining government and keeping it focused on securing OUR individual rights.

That pretty easy with a bunch of crooked prosecutors and bitter partisans.
Mueller is as crooked as they come and he can draw blood at will. He forced Flynn into a guilty plea for lying when even the agents that conducted the interview concluded that he did NOT lie.

Americans HATE dirty corrupt prosecutors. So we will play with this through 2020, when the Left tries to run Kamala, a dirty prosecutor, from CA.

Black voters hate crooked prosecutors even more than the rest of us.

    Buckle up and enjoy!

    Read what you wrote.

"To be loyal to Trump, is the same thing as being loyal to the US Constitution."

This equation you have written is just painful. What you ought to be saying is that loyalty to the structure of government is the same thing as being loyal to the constitution. Tying it to an individual is an instant train wreck because -by your own standard- disloyalty to Trump = disloyalty to the constitution. That's directly out of a dictatorship/monarchy. Your whole notion shatters the second an individual makes a choice outside the bounds of that piece of paper.

And in that current structure of government, Trump is President.(Until we're notified otherwise.). Interestingly, impeachment is a political resolution and not a judicial one. That's important to bring up because it's the whims of Congress that decide: IE: Obama violates the 90 day-war act, no problem :D. One of the reasons for that, is unspoken: Impeachment must and can only be used when all other remedies have failed. The Founders were keenly aware of what abuses would come from power struggles. They didn't want us to be a country of revolts.

That's the danger of the hatred of this man as President: Instead of waiting until 2020 when his term would expire, many would want to impeach him before then. Well, if you do that then any pretense of our so-called democracy is thrown out the window. People mistakenly think the path to dictatorship will be through Trump's actions. No, it will be through to the responses of this presidency which have been terrible for the US. Unproven allegations, mistrust and attack of the POTUS'S name.

Impeach him short of overwhelming evidence, and this country is finished. People mistake 'patriotism' for dealing with a jackass. Well, welcome to the real world Washington politicians: In the real world, many people have shitty bosses. But they don't forment a revolt(at most a strike) just because they don't like the jackass.

No, they bear and grunt and deal with it until they either find a new job or a new boss is hired. Luckily, as long as people don't do stupid **** you get a new chance 2 years from now.

I'm not taking Putin over anything whatever nonsense you choose to believe. Whne the NSA the people who do this sort of thing for a livng tell us that they are less than fifty percent certain of that info, That means conversely that it is more than fifty percent likely to be some one else.

Gee, I'm sorry. Did I miss something?
Trump has a majority Republican congress and has had since his inauguration. How exactly has the Democratic minority dissent "paralyze {d the} government"? If his own party votes against his actions, how can you put that on the Democrats?
Oh, of course. Alternative facts and fake news must be to blame!

And the NSA said in essence that they were less than fifty percent certain The Russians were behind it. So if you believe the NSA then you too must be less than fifty percent certain that the Russians were behind the DNC hack.
