    Ha! No, it isn't.

    I arrested him.

Hypothetically, the rest of the story goes like this ... (You're a present or former LEO, aren't you? I think you already know this story.)

3 miles down the road, they stop for gas or food, and he convinces her that he can drive and insists that he will drive. She is not in a position to fight him. Up the road, because he's intoxicated, people die. In the post-crash investigation, his BAC is tested to be .16.

Now how do you feel about the officer not making the arrest?

You know what's going to happen then? The County or City that employs that officer is going to get sued for millions, and they're going to pay those millions. That's what's going to happen. The officer will be fired if he violated policy. And, in any case, the officer gets to live with it.

My police department had an absolute no slack policy on DUII.

Sure it does as it show how all black males that for the crime of being born black no matter how old or young are far more likely to be killed or at least harm by police compare to whites.

All police seems to be able to see is not a child but a dangerous black male even when it come to a 12 years old.

Now whites got to go into Starbucks that very day by reports on NPR and not order at once and even used the restrooms and for the same action by two black males had not one not two not three not four not five but six cops show up to deal with them for not leaving at once.

No question that was as racist an action as could be by both Starbucks and the police.

When I was a deputy, I rarely had an confrontation with anyone when I responded to incidents similar to this. But then, I treated people better than they thought they would be treated.

So, wanting to wait until your friends show up before you place an order makes you a "jerk-wad"?

So forget the black/white dynamic in this case. Let's make the two guys white guys.

They're not buying coffee, so they are not customers. They are asked by management to leave. They refuse. You get there and realize that, technically, the manager is within his rights, and the two guys are trespassing if they remain on the premises. You ask them to wait for their friend (if there really is a friend coming) outside. They refuse. You explain the law to them, and they still refuse to leave.

What do you do? Tell the manager "sorry" and leave?

On a serious note. It's the right thing. Even if it makes one seem evil.

It they are white they surely are no threat and there is no more reason to ask them to leave then the women who was there before them that day and was allow to wait an even use the restrooms.

However any black male less alone two black males must be up to no good and not just waiting for a friend so we need to get them out of here at once.

An thankfully the police send a six man team to deal with these black low lives.

You got to love the racists in the old US that had come out into the daylight since Trump became president.

Are you calling me a racist?

I am a retired LEO. I dealt with these situations. White, black, hispanic ... didn't matter to me. It's just a matter of law.

LOL I am calling the woman manager a likely racist and who ever was the lead cop of the six cop team a likely racist or at the very best a poorly train in the art of de-escalation police officer.

The very idea of tying up that large number of police officers and other police resources on something that minor is annoying on it face

Now as far as your above question is concern there are rules on this website against our expressing/sharing such opinions of each other if we would happen to have such opinions so no comment by me one way or the other.

After all anyone can come up to their own conclusions in reading our postings in any case without needing an opinion by me,

If I were your lawyer I'd suggest you choose another business as an example. I don't suppose you have travelled as much as I have but barber shops (in many places) are the gathering point for men. They sit around most of the day meeting friends and talking, talking, talking. Either the barber shop makes up a brew of coffee and offers it for free or the non-paying friends bring a cup from around the corner.

If you want to put me in my place find a better example.
No. Businesses make their money from customers. If you treat them badly you'll have no business. When cops are 'dirty' but the police force stands by them what is your opinion of them? When a business is dirty at least you have the chance to show them what you think by staying away from them.
I don't think people do that but it is possible. That's why what that employee did was extremely bad on more level than one.
That's sensationalist crap and you know it.

Please, PD killing of Blacks is at all time low and considering the crime rate is exceptionally low. Probably the protected class thing again.

Oh! My! God! Are they crazy?
Now that just has to be against the law. I mean, people get arrested for loud music on a Saturday night so this has to be illegal. Is that idiot really blasting his voice through that thing in the poor guy's face? Wouldn't punching him in the nose be consider "self-defence"? What about a well-placed kick to his gasakus?

Ooof... Good God I would've left, too... If Kevin Johnson really cares, he should make all the white people in every store pay for the coffee for every black person in the store due to everything they themselves have personally put blacks through and are feeling guilty for. He should also set up a trauma center in every Starbucks in every major city so every guilty white person can confess their guilt.

Really, why stop at bending over and twisting into a pretzel for something you're still not sure happened? Don't stop, go for it all, Kevin!

When you have two hairbrains not being compliant, on purpose, no amount of talking is going to work, and no amount of maturity is going to work. The two nimrods in this story planned on making a scene. How do you get around that one?

    Typical situation ...

    1) these "gentlemen" act like jerks,
    2) the employees act in the correct manner,
    3) the whole thing blows up in the media,
    4) the corporation apologizes,
    5) the company mandates "racial sensitivity and reeducation" classes to all employees,
    6) a lawsuit is filed and the jerks collect enough money to retire on, but they'll blow it all within six months.

    Ain't America great!

Not anymore. That poor guy in the photo with the bullhorn in his face has paid for all the sins that my people have committed since Jesus shed his blood on Mt. Calvary. We're even now.

    What an exaggeration.
    More exaggeration.

I believe it's mandatory since you have to be a born citizen to be a president. Politics took a major dive in 2006 when democrats gained control of Congress and did everything they could to make Bush look bad, regardless of whether it helped America or not, and then they went full retard in 2008. Anyone who said something negative about Obama (he even beat Clinton because he convinced his voters that her and her campaign was racist) was called a racist. They went from bad to worse at that point and keeping control of Congress, he was able to get away with whatever he wanted to because people were too afraid of being called racist in public so they avoided negativity at all costs. The liberals on this forum are a fine representation of what they started to become during the 2008 election.

Our trick question was always "Do your parents know you're gay?" HA!
