Donald Drumpf is reportedly furious that the US can’t shut down the border

    https://www.vox.com/2018/5/11/17343784/trump-border-nielsen

President Donald Drumpf is screaming mad at his homeland security secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen, for failing to stop people from coming to the US without papers.

According to reports in the New York Times and Washington Post, Drumpf went on a half-hour rant at Nielsen during a recent Cabinet meeting — an unusually long tantrum even for him (and one that reportedly made other officials in the room uncomfortable). The Times reported that Nielsen wrote a resignation letter but hadn’t yet decided to submit it; the Post’s reporting says no such letter was drafted.

Drumpf reportedly blames Nielsen for the fact that, despite the Drumpf administration’s renewed effort to crack down on families, children, and asylum seekers crossing into the US in the name of ending “catch and release,” 50,000 people without papers came into federal custody at the border in both March and April.

Nielsen, as well as Attorney General Jeff Sessions, apparently tried to explain to the president that the federal government is constrained in what it can do by the law, but Drumpf reportedly wasn’t having it. “We need to shut it down,” he yelled at Nielsen at one point, per the Post report. “We’re closed.”

Yelling at people is a management tactic for President Drumpf; sometimes his anger inspires long-held grudges, but sometimes it dissipates once he’s gotten it off his chest. But he’s spent the past month in an apparent panic about the border, and his outburst at Nielsen shows it isn’t going away.
    ........................................................................................................
I'm not sure Crazy Donald grasps the concept of the government being constrained by laws. He isn't constrained by anything.........including morals.

Another nameless source by another fake news site?

Even if this is true, there is no legal reason why we can't stop illegals from entering the country. If I was the President, I would have fired her and Sessions the minute they started blaming the law for their incompetence.

Donald shouldn't be mad at his subordinates. He should be mad at the do-nothing Congress. Unless it involves the Russian Conspiracy theory, they won't so much as lift a finger for the American People. Both parties.

So are a couple of hundred million law abiding citizens who are furious that the U.S. can't stop the invasion because of really stupid laws and policies that were passed by liberals, progressives and commies.

A couple hundred million? More like a few thousand white nationalists. No poll shows a couple hundred million americans supporting trump, but do keep up the lies.

And liberals are cheering that tens of thousands of people are entering the nation illegally.

    The more the better right!

When is someone going to tell him that immigration from India and China overstaying visas far outweighs Mexican immigration? But that would mess with his narrative. He's such a pandering dolt.

I want immigrants not to overstay their visas, no matter where they're from. If our parents and great grand parents can follow the law, then so can the new generation of immigrants.

Has nothing to do with Trump. Most Americans want our borders secured and our immigration laws enforce including Democrats and independents.

What laws are we talking about here? Borders are not the jurisdiction of congress, but rather fall under international law. For example, international airports have duty free shops because of a lack of jurisdiction.

Right on cue with your idiotic response. Neither parties give a rat's behind about the border or illegal immigrants. The big businesses (some of them BELONG to Trump) that you applaud and cheered on as they were getting their candies from Trump hired these illegals to suppress wages. News for you, the republiklowns in Congress are complicit, yet you excused them from their incompetence. Well done.

The problem is that Trump fails to address this issue. All he wants is his big, beautiful wall.

Most if not all international laws in the world are based on Vattels "Law of Nations." and Vattels covers borders, immigration and citizenship.

    Re: Citizenship.

"Son follows the condition of his father."

The Fourteenth Amendment and its intent was based on Vattels.

Come to think of it, so is the U.S. Constitution.

Natural Law...Law of Nature not so much Common Law.

Common Law doesn't even mention having a constitution. Law of Nature does.

Well, there is the National guard.
We could probably recall some of the border control guys from Sea World.
How about Dreamers for a wall? Oh wait..... Mexico is gonna do that.

They may outweigh Mexican immigration but not Mexican illegal immigration.

Do you know what a neocon is ? They are neo-conservatives who use to be the liberal base of the Democratic party who fled that party starting in the 1970's when the "New Left" (radical leftist) hijacked the Democratic party and were allowed to take refuge under the GOP tent.

There are many Republicans and conservatives who wish that these neocon RINO's would go back home to the Democratic party.

The original Tri-Lateral Commision was made up with both Republicans and Democrats. Rockefeller, Jimmy Carter, G.H. Bush (41), Henry Kissinger and even Bill Clinton were some of the original members of the Tri-Lateral Commission, the Oligarchy, globalization, nation building and a world with no borders.

And the big beautiful building contracts that are going to all his cronies. Think of the Great Wall of China, but not mortared with the blood of Chinese. No, filled with a rubble made of taxpayer's money and all American's dreams of a better life.

Unnamed source means it can't be verified. Without somebody saying "I was there, and this is what I saw" then it doesn't even rise to the level of gossip.

A simple denial from the cult leaders would clear it up, then. We don't have that yet. Considering that it's coming from legitimate, trustworthy news sources, I believe it happened.

It's a very common theme at this point, calling all news that is negative about the Orange Furor "fake." He started that and you're just following suit.

So how about immigration, which is, after all, the issue here? Figure that "falls under international law", do you?

This is why I asked what laws keep the president from being able to stop illegal immigration?
