I dont think we should use their phones for the military like Rubio stated but i dont see why they cant buy parts from OUR companies if we can work out a good trade deal.

 

I hope China and the US come to a good fair trade arrangement. Both nations and the world will benefit.

And alum prices have hit me personally.. I am in the sign business and our aluminum has went up 14 cents per square foot. That only sounds like a lot when you buy 40K pounds of it at a time lol

I understand that ZTE phones have been used covertly for "intelligence work", and the intelligence community and military is opposed to allowing them in the country. I see no reason whatsoever to trust the Chinese government or industry with any product that could be misused. These phones should not be allowed in our country. I don't care if they want to buy parts from US companies, but there is no reason to put ourselves at any risk even if it would help some real estate venture in Indonesia.

I thought china was using US parts in order to make their phones? You don't want americans to make parts for china? Well, not like we expect democrats to be concerned about american workers who make things to be exported. For clearly they are not.

I suggest you help to keep from making china great by refusing to buy anything made in china. Which is most of all consumer goods. Be consistent so not to be a hypocrite.

I agree Trump shouldn't have caved on this, even though this has to have something to do with China's support in sanctions on NK. China has too much access to our technology and especially military technology. I hate to think of how much China contributes to building our military jets. Even Texas Instruments has plants in China.
