I hope he's correct and there's no indication the Russians were able to hack into the ballots. Do you doubt they would if they could? Do you really think their aim is to help the Republicans against the Democrats or do you think their main aim is to disrupt our election system, destroy confindence in our government and divide Americans against themselves?

Agreed Fox and MSNBC are biased. Unfortunately, although I wouldn't say "controlled", Trump is certainly heavily influenced by what he hears on FNC.

Yes, it's wrong for any elected representative to say the press, media, whatever are the "real enemy of the people". The RWNJs say Trump meant only "fake news" is the enemy, but when pressed for names, they either run or name what we already knowl; all news media except Fox.

 

Trump did not say the press is the enemy, he said the fake news media is the enemy. What is sad is that people seem to have come to believe "the press" and the "fake news media" are one and the same, as if there is no more honest press coverage anymore.

 

Being in denial about being duped by a con man AKA Crooked Donnie is an affliction exploited by him and his RU puppet masters. Trump supporters are easy fodder for these falsehoods.

The MSM is not anti-American by any stretch of the imagination. The free press is the only entity that is holding Trump accountable.
Their comments about Trump's conduct are mostly correct. In Russia members of the press end up dead along with Putin's opposition. So go figure. And Trump sucks up to him. Why? Something is amiss. If Trump thinks that He and Putin are ****** buddies, then
he is naive.

 

The media hates America. They want to "fundamentally change" it, like Obama did.

Strongly disagreed. They are all corporations seeking profit. If there's a problem, it's that too many media stockshare holders are more interested in profit than news. We are overloaded with Infotainment; cable news shows will have 5 minutes of real news followed by 25 minutes of opinions talking about the news. Why? Because that's what attracts viewers. Fox has its niche, MSNBC their niche and CNN their niche. Giving customers what they want is a fundamental of business.

I don't usually watch cable "news" but last night I was switching back and forth between hannity and madcow. The difference in tone was jarring. Madcow was down right stately compared to the shrilling and shrieking on hannity. I've always associated that tone with the left and I sincerely hope that conservatives aren't trending in that direction.

 

Its better to have dialogue with them than no dialogue -- not saying you should perform full on fellatio like Trump does -- but it is nothing wrong with dialogue with all countries, not just Russia.

We were not going to war over Crimea, no matter how much people attacked Obama for doing nothing -- nobody would have supported WW3 behind Crimea..

 

Their ideology has nothing to do with their commenting about Trump's conduct, in my view. It is their responsibility to hold our officials accountable. And they love America.

Agreed also about Crimea. We can use diplomacy, apply sanctions and encourage others to do the same, but no need to get involved in a shooting war due to Russian's invasion of Ukraine.
