More Federal crimes from the Witch Hunt....
Then what did he (Trump) mean by "For what?" when Cohen suggested that they would "need financing" ?

Did you even listen to it?

More Federal crimes from the Witch Hunt, including violating Cohen's right to equal protection under the law.

Tell us all again how the Grand Buffoon never leaks anything....

Don't confuse them with facts. It irritates them, and they have been instructed by their Clown Prince that the only real facts are the ones he utters. Never mind if they contradict one another.

" But sure ... Trump's drafting his resignation, and Pence is preparing his pardon. "

That would be fine with me.

I don't particularly care for Pence, but I don't see him as a threat to our democracy or to the western world.

was he elected as a man of virtue or a businessman who is an outsider and not controlled by DC money people?

The results are in despite the never-eneding pounding of the media.

You are wrong again... he said 'what financing', not 'for what'... Trump didn't want to finance anything, as cash is easier to hide...

Putting aside for now the idea of getting it off with Trump makes my flesh creep I can’t wait till the bromance with Putin finally soures and we get to see the Russian ladies of the night pissing on that bed. Problem is if they do exist and the President is actually naked in them I don’t want to watch. None of this really matters though. What really does matter is the hope the military gave Trump the wrong codes for that red button.

Funny thing is that people like Peppermint, and others who are haunted daily by Trump, make him more relevant than Trump supporters ever could. They've almost single handedly given him the 2020 election. Their bitter anger is their downfall. It's like stepping on glass and pushing it further into your foot each time you try to pull it out. There are no limitations to how many times they can screw themselves. That's the beauty.

    Not at all.

In exchange for his testimony, Cohen will get immunity.

And I still wonder why no Trumpist can explain why Trump's lawyer was recording his conversations.

That gives a good idea of the level of trust Cohen had in his boss.

Reminds me of a cranky bare foot toddler who steps off the lawn and onto the hot sidewalk

...and proceeds to start doing a hot foot dance.

But they won't walk back onto the grass. :)

Anyone who knew anything at all about Donald Trump before 2016 knew that a "man of virtue" is something he is definitely NOT. And never has been. Trump is the spoiled son of a sleazy Queens real estate developer who inherited his fortune and has been squandering it slowly through a series of spectacular failure and in dealing with exceptionally sleazy gangsters.

Indeed, Trump has been trying to normalize his sleeze since the day he announced.

As for not being controlled by DC money, Trump is openly for sale, and makes little effort to hide it.

He let Steve Mnuchin dictate the tax bill Wall Street wanted, and Mitch McConnell delivered it to him.

Never mind that we will run a trillion dollar deficit at a time when the country is in very good economic health, and expect to double that in a year or two.

    No.

I've had 3-4 lawyers in my life, none of them ever recorded me.

And we both know that Cohen wanted to keep track of his conversations with Trump - including all those old cell phones - because there was a risk, considering the illegality of his actions, that his boss would one day turn against him.

So it's still as easy for the Trumpists to defend the integrity of the POTUS?

I think they played it twenty times between 9 and 10:15. I could not tell for sure that Trump said "cash". I think he is. It would be in keeping.

Rudy is a mouthpiece to entertain the Trumpsters on Fox, nothing more.

There's no reason to pay any attention to anything he says. It's all enterainment for the knuckle draggers.

    Me neither.

No it is not only not customary for attorneys to record their clients, it's generally not legal without their consent, depending on what state you're in.

Unfortunately for Trump, New York is not one of them where this practice is not legal. It isn't ethical.

But that was never an important consideration either of these two sleezeballs.

Thanks for proving me correct. Lawyers do this all the time. Because some dont doesnt mean others dont.

I know a lot of attorneys and three or four judges. I can tell you that contrary to your false mischaracterization of my post, it is NOT normal or professional for attorneys to secretly record their client.

But I have never gotten my lawyers out of the yellow pages, either.

It is disappointing, but not surprising, that Trumpsters would make excuses for this behavior, and try and pass this sleeziness off as normal.

I don’t expect you to care that you elected a pathological liar. Nor do I expect you to learn from it. Doesn’t mean the rest of us have to treat it as normal.

    I don't think so.

If he can't be trusted as a lawyer with client confidentiality, no one is going to work with him.

He's done. I mean he might get some people to take advantage of him, but he's not going to profit.
