I think she's a comedian who's... pretty much batshit crazy..., but I don't think she's racist, and think it's absurd that she got booted from the show. We live in a p.c. outrage culture, so, not surprising. And by the way, it's sad that p.c. is so pervasive that not even comedians are safe, unless they have the right message. No, you don't have to be offensive to be funny, but some offensive things are funny, and you could always remind yourself that you're listening to a comedian tell a joke. Anyways, here's a recent interview on the Joe Rogan Podcast where they discuss her ill-fated tweet... and other crazy ****.
Well she is a Trump supporter so that probably had something to do with it also. The Tweet was stupid however and she should have known better. Too bad because her show was (once again) a hit. We will have to see how it does with her in it now. Probably not nearly as well.
Never liked her. Not her old show...especially not her mocking performance of the Anthem...and not her new show. She's a loudmouth narcissist and yes...she's racist
Neither you nor I know her well enough to know if she is racist. Even her ex husband, Tom Arnold, claimed he never heard a racist thing from her. She made a pretty horrible comment and got in trouble for it. Given the ratings of the relaunch of her show I would have kept her on to see what happened but the execs decided they didn't want to risk that blowback.
I can't stand Tom Arnold, just repeating what's out there so make your own call on it. Not sure why he would be lying for her though.
Whether she's racist or not -- like say Michelle Obama -- is pretty much a non issue, since it's not illegal to be a racist. Hell, Michelle was able to be First Lady and she pretty much openly hated Whites. The deal is that Rossane is pretty much crazy, and over time that gets annoying in an actress -- or even a comedian. She's got one hell of an abrasive personality, and that seems to come across in her acting. At the end of the day people get tired of her and of her character in any show in which she stars.
I don't like crass or vulgar comedy and her stand-up was full of it so I was not predisposed to like the series much in the first place. She is just plain flakey now.
Watching only 10 minutes of this video and I can say that she is an average undereducated person who's been pushed into the limelight because her personality is sweet, endearing, and funny. If I met her at a bus stop I would assume that she's an Asperger sufferer living her life in the only way she knows how. If she offends, she doesn't mean to, and if people are offended then blame it on the producers of entertainment for putting people like her onstage.
