Well, to be fair The Left is showing a fair amount of consistency for once - If a man can be a woman, a Whitey should be able to be a Cherokee.

 

The left is in a panic because they cheated the democratic process by having the high court declare for them that abortion is a constitional right insead of using the legeslative process

Now their off sides end around run may be called back by a new conservative majority in the Supreme Court

 

My "dream" candidate would still be former Gov. of Texas, Rick Perry. Yes, he's the Energy Sec. under Trump, but he could be so very much more. Now that the completely fraudulent lawsuit brought against him by radical Travis County, Texas Democrats was thrown out of court in Feb. 2016, he could offer his candidacy... but, by now he'd be a very dark horse.

Kasich... hmm. Well, here again, it's "the lesser of two evils" syndrome. To my mind, he's a RINO, but vastly preferable to creatures that lurk in the bottom of the Democrat cauldron, like 'Dizzy Lizzy' Warren, Corey Booker, Kamala Harris, Mazi Hirono, et al.

He's been described as a "compassionate Conservative", and he does have an at-times impressive record as Governor of Ohio. His pro-'illegal alien' positions grate the hell out of me, along with his squishy, RINO-like accommodation of pushing more Medicaid, more money for veiled welfare programs, etc. But, again, compared with rabidly-liberal, America-haters like the Demos I listed above, yes, Kasich would be definitely be preferable....

If Kasich were to be a serious candidate, the Democrats would attack him as being a Czech-Croat descendant -- because both Czechoslovakia and Croatia were part of the Nazi Third Reich at one time. You may be thinking, "What the hell has THAT got to do with anything...?" But we've seen that today's Democrat Party will attack anybody in any way imaginable if they think it can be twisted to give them an advantage....

 

My guess is that the Court will leave things as they are. But if they do return things to pre-Roe, the Left shouldn't go nuts about it. Just take it to the states. There will be some states which will immediately confirm that abortion is legal, others that don't. For the latter, they can go through the democratic process.

A good lesson for everyone: don't try to make people jump over their own heads. Applies in Mississippi as well as Afghanistan.

That's the huge advantage the US has -- it can hold lots of different people together, because they can re-locate to be with others like them. The can Undiversify, so to speak.

You suggested that we come up with a COMPROMISE team that we could BOTH support.

I told you that I could support Kasich or someone similar. It was up to you to say who you could support from the other side instead of going off on a tangent.

I am not asking you to support Warren, Booker or Harris.

I am asking who you could support on the other side of the aisle to your own position.

 

Which is a fair choice IMO. He does have a balanced view and would be a solid person to have on the ticket in either position.

There's the compromising Derideo I know and love! Here's some substance for you. Trump says she's not "an Indian." That's what the challenge was, and it wasn't supposed to be tested until the debates. She jumped the gun and proved ... that she ain't an Indian. The Cherokee spokesmen agree with me. I do think Trump MAYBE owes her as big a fraction of a million bucks as she has reaction Indian DNA. Maybe $900- odd dollars.
