Trump vs Obama: The Tale of the Hate

I'm srsly stumped on this one...

Do closet conservatives (liberals) hate Trump more than (declared) conservatives hate/d Obama?

I'm honestly not sure.

I think the DCs hate/d Moochelle MORE than the closet conservatives hate Melania, but their husbands...?

Is it a toss up?

Is each man equally hated by the conservative group that randomly perceives him as the *TRAITOR!* and *ENEMY!* to/of Murca, or is one hated more?

I just kind of worry that there isn't enough hate to go around, and that we might run out...

 

There is undoubtedly hate out there for the people you’ve mentioned.

I’d like to remind everyone there are large swaths of people who disagree with policy and ideology and have no hate for individuals.

I think it’s important to not lump everyone together if progress is the intent of these “hate” threads.

 

Probably a different kind of hate.
Obama teed it up with "I want to fundamentally transform the United States of America".
Anyone who makes a statement like that pisses off a whole lot of people.
Michelle was very unlikeable especially after she said "For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country"
Anyone who makes a statement like that pisses off a whole lot of people.
Couple that with being a minority and you have a lot of haters.

Trump is hated by both the right and the left as he is a total outsider and a very clumsy one at that. DC hates the unpredictable.
To me, his wife is not all that likable either but she is not nearly as public as Michelle Obama was.

In my opinion, the biggest difference between Obama and Trump is the visceral hatred for everything Trump does by the media. He gets kudos for literally nothing but he keeps plowing along which is one of his strong points.

Where this all goes is of little consequence to me as long as Trump continues getting strong conservative judges on the bench for it is those people that really shape the course of America in the long run.

Not even close. I know of no mainstream Republicans or conservatives who expressed hatred for Obama. There were probably a few outliers as there are with any president. However, insane unfettered hatred of Trump is mainstream with virtually all Democrat politicos, most media, and some never Trump Republicans. It's an anthill versus the Himalayas.

"Hatred" of Obama policies was just that, the policies themselves, despite endless "racist" lie narratives launched at policy opposition. ACA, mandating citizens to buy a good or service or face significant penalties, and many other Obama era initiatives were RADICAL departures enhancing state power at the expense of individual freedom. To date, the Trump Administration, agree or disagree with particular policies, has proposed or done nothing nearly so radical.

"Hatred" of the Trump Administration, as the perpetual FLIP FLOP and "fill in the blank Orangemanbad" nature of various narratives against him proves unequivocally, is hatred of the very existence of Trump as POTUS, not this or that policy. This is illustrated by all the TDS over completely inconsequential stuff, tweeting "(poor me)," or questioning a kid's belief in Santa as recent of 1000s of examples possible. Even when the Trump Administration does things the LW generally supports (hemp farming) negative narratives instantly emerge and are spammed all over MSM and the net. It's transparent and counterproductive, so I hope they keep doing it.

I was at my daughters house last night when she told me that she had some really bad news for me. I was pretty concerned and I told her that she could tell me anything. You do know that Obama didn't accomplish much. Trump was pretty much able to reverse most of Obamas crap, which he implemented in eight years, in less than two years.
