I don't disagree with you. He deserves some very steep fines and restitution of whatever medical bills she has and replacement of her phone at a minimum.

I believe you are correct about the genertionl discrepancy. I was raised to believe that I had a responsibility to get in between a man assaulting a woman. As far as I'm concerned that dude earned cherry pie on the pillow, the moment he touched her phone. As for his window TO ****ING BAD. If she were my mother, he would have a very short life span.

Of course I knew her. I've known her since 2007 when she made the news after she started receiving racist phone calls from the son of Democratic Mayor in Connecticut. She sued and won around $35-$40K

In his defense, getting between a guy with a gun takes a great deal of guts. We have no audio so we don't know what he did. He may have shortened the beating with his mouth. We just don't know.

 

True enough. The one time I put myself in between a guy and girl, it was in a busy park. People just watched this girl getting mauled and walked on by. But I put my head down and charged like a boner in a vagina shop, we all tumbled down and some other guys got her out of there, but I took an ass whipping that I'll never forget. Turns out that was one of my proudest moments . And my dad gave me my first tast of good whisky. But I never saw ether the guy or girl again and can only hope it helped out in the long run as well as it did at that moment.

While I agree with the felony charges against him (and his being fired by his boss), he didn't pistol whip her. What he did was bad enough. No reason to exaggerate it.

Slapping her cell phone away was the first act of violence (i.e. a crime). I don't see her retaliating for that as a crime. I do see the slapping of the cell phone and his punching her to be crimes. Her destroying his windshield is also a crime.

 

He hit her first, slapping the phone out of her hand.

Here is what I read:
She drove the wrong way down a one way street to drop off a friend. She stopped in front of the exit to the parking lot that he was parked in and trying to get out of. He gets out of his car and starts yelling at her and then she pulled out mace and threatened him with it. Then he pulled his gun. She calls 911 on her phone. he puts gun back in holster and slaps phone out of her hand (first real crime committed in this whole series). She punches him. He then beats her up. she destroys the windows of his truck. Not sure what happens between him beating her up and the truck windows.

iwatched the video the day it happened. more fool me, really dont like watching stuff like that. didnt want to comment here because of all the racism but made a few sarcastic comments, my bad.

on a side note, the NZ massacre video is still all over movie streaming websites and you can bet ppl who are not defending this woman here are the type to have watched that NZ video. sick stuff indeed.

 

I try not to make comments before doing basic research. I'm really not defending either side. Both contributed to the problem in their own way. That said, what the man did was worse, and he was the first to make it physical. That said, she shouldn't have confronted him for trying to take pics of her license plate. He shouldn't have pulled his gun or slapped the phone out of her hand or punched her repeatedly. She shouldn't have broken his windshield.
