You have a strange definition of "doing their job" given the number illegals that end up in our country. Start arresting these people and busing them to liberal sanctuary cities. Then maybe the Border Patrol will be doing their job.

Historically, when the "law" has failed to act to protect public safety, citizens, often called committees of vigilance, have by necessity "stepped up to the plate" to get the job done. Common law recognizes a so called citizen's arrest and this fact is codified into the laws of most States. In other words, your statement "you don't get to do their job" is not 100% accurate.

We can point to a couple high profile cases Mueller bungled along the way. I've posted about Mueller / Comey threatening to resign over FISA because of potential abuse, only to get caught abusing it themselves. Some of my earliest threads are on that topic, and have the gov't documentation of abuse embedded in them. These abuses date back to Mueller's FBI directorship.

The castle doctrine only applies to individuals who have a legal right to be where they are at the time. An illegal alien has no legal right to be in the united states, therefore they could not claim the castle doctrine applied to them. It can only apply against them.
