FBI arrests leader of U.S. 'patriots' stopping migrants at border

All the militia are poseurs, yep.

 

Rednecks with guns terrorizing people aren't patriots in my book.

 

Armed citizens patrols are a great idea IMO. I belong to one. Tresspassing isn't a federal crime, but citizens arrest can be invoked for any crime. It might be a litigation nightmare for the militia, but it's legal.

 

It's not a "LW gun regulation" to not let convicted felons walk around carrying firearms for God's sake. I realize former felons often need to protect themselves even when there are laws that have removed their 2nd Amend rights because of THEIR behavior, but that's no excuse for some self-styled militia for having a convicted felon in some leadership position.

 

So between you and that Starkey guy, a US citizen stopping an illegal, could be cartel members, but stopping them from entering the US is terrorizing people? And the Starkey guy thinks you should kill people breaking the law, so illegals should be shot? I'm sure he is only referring to US citizens, not the ones breaking into this nation. Do you guys ever take the side of the US? You rabid libs are un-American in my book.

 

No such thing as a legal citizen's arrest in this situation.

If you see militia patrols, call LEO and let them deal with it.

 

Then we can have armed citizens patrols out to watch the armed citizens patrols and make sure they don't abuse their "citizens arrests". That's legal too.

Has anyone mentioned what felony Hopkins was convicted of ?

Not filing tax returns for one year ?

Was convicted in Nevada for having a Tommy Chong bong in his car ?

 

I don't think Larry Hopkins would stand much of a chance if he tried to arrest an MS13 member.

 

If he is a "felon in possession of a firearm and ammuntion" then he should be arrested... no question about that.

But it is a LONG leap from that to catagorically condemning all who take action to prevent illegal invaders from barging into the United States. As far back as the late 1970's, the United States Army was working with the New Mexico National Guard to develop strategies and in-the-field tactics to intercept and contain invaders from Mexico. Too bad that today's liberal Democrat New Mexico Governor wouldn't DREAM of using the New Mexico National Guard to keep these invaders out of our country. But what can you expect from a state whose largest city, Albuquerque, is a "sanctuary city"...?

Not everyone is cut out for that kind of work but we have millions of Americans that can and are willing to handle. The same Americans the left call names, demonize and even a couple on here call for violence against.

 

Plenty of job openings with Homeland Sec. But no one has a right to just stop someone they don't like the looks of.

Both parties have been blocking each other since 43 was in office.

 

It's the militias that should be arrested. They are a danger to themselves
and everyone else.

 

Dallas County should have priority. Even States no longer have any authority over entry into the Union and have no basis to Care, if someone is from out of State or from out of state since 1808.

 

Well regulated militia are authorized their own colors, standards, banners and guidons.

 

It is refreshing to see Democrats take a sudden interest in enforcing the law. So how are those gun laws that prevent felons from obtaining firearms working out for you?

 

Not very well. As we Democrats keep saying, the gun show loophole needs to be closed. Of course, with Republicans living in denial that this loophole exists, felons just keep avoiding the law, courtesy of Republicans.
