The president gripes about Fox's news anchors, showing his disregard for journalism

This is what happens when Fox flirts with being Trump's unofficial propaganda outlet, but then tries to behave like an ordinary, "fair and balanced" news outlet on occasion. The narcissistic man-child attacks the anchors and, in at least one case, even the audience! He gets angry when Fox and its audience aren't rabidly anti-Democrat.

New York (CNN Business)According to President Trump's own Twitter feed, he detests seeing Democratic candidates on his favorite television channel.

Last month he complained about Fox News' town hall with Bernie Sanders. And on Sunday he said Fox wasted its airtime on a town hall with Pete Buttigieg.

"Fox is moving more and more to the losing (wrong) side in covering the Dems," Trump tweeted on Sunday before Buttigieg's town hall aired.

Trump evidently expects more loyalty out of Fox, a network that he often promotes while attacking its competitors.

Holy cow.

Democrats are actually admitting Fox news is journalism.

Well that beats all.

 

HELL has frozen over...

 

Fox analyst Brit Hume, a frequent defender of the president, replied to the Trump tweets and said, "Say this for Buttigieg. He's willing to be questioned by Chris Wallace, something you haven't done since you've been president. Oh, and covering the Democratic candidates is part of the job of a news channel."
Philip Rucker of the Washington Post commented that Trump was admonishing a news network "for merely covering his political opponents."
Maggie Haberman of The New York Times added that Trump was "telling them not to behave like a news organization."

Dems? Looks like journalists are pointing out that there is a difference between opinion and journalism, even on Fox.

 

Nice to hear the alt lefties are now supporting FOX News. What's tingle up my leg and Mancow going to do to top that?

 

Says the people who constantly attack Fox.

 

They rip Sean Hannity all the time. But his job is not to deliver news, but to discuss news.

Paul Harvey used to discuss news. I have heard and seen a lot of Democrats discuss news.

But the operation blasted by others never was true. Fox news has long had delivery of news. Shep Smith is a powerful rebuttal to claims they do not deliver news.

in fact during Katrina, Shep Smith mounted one of the most dreadful perfomances ever seen done by a jourlanist. He stopped reporting news and commenced to argue over it and to blame Bush.

Did Bush deserve his smarmy attacks. Hell no. FOX gave Bush all kinds of undeserved hell over Katrina.

By doing what. FEMA has never been the primary rescue team. They consistently even today show up to mop up.

Mop up what?

Mop up failures by the locals to plan or to deliver after a plan.

Then Mayor Nagin (now Convict Nagan) had along with the Female Governor of LA put a plan in place. Nagan refused to carry out the plan.

The victims of the flood were doomed when Nagan refused to order the victims to board city buses that could have removed them to safety. But he decided there would be no flooding and that was the view as well of the woman Governor Blanco.

What was Bush's own view? Evacuate the city. But Bush had no authority to order a city evacuated but Nagan had it. Blanco as well I believe since she was governor.

Most if not all the blame placed by FOX --- Shepard Smith belonged to Nagan with some to Blanco.

FOX attacked Bush.

So after he did that, the crud hit the fan and the eagar Democrat party media followed up also attacking the Bush team.

People should have been in his bus fleet and not sitting on the top of their homes.
Frankly when they Jailed Nagan., I was doing handstands.

 

He gets paid to distort the news.

 

A small percentage of FOX still does journalism. That would include Bret Hume, Chris Wallace, and Bret Baier. It appears Trump can only relate to or understand "Fox and Friends." I find the FOX town halls informative and fun to watch - free people exchanging ideas. The Chris Mathews New Hampshire Town Hall was a real eye opener and got to the heart of what people care about. Naturally, Trump and his mob would hate that.

 

With all due respect for more than forty years now 'journalists' have rank just above used car salesmen and congressmen in terms of truth and honesty. That Trump has little respect for them merely means he is in line with the views of the American people.

 

What a ****ing joke. They like to make money. Trump wants them to cater only to right wingers.
