    Congress has every right to act on the allegations in the Mueller report and I am sure they will. Barr has every right to investigate Trump’s perceived enemies in law enforcement too. As one who seeks the truth, I am looking forward to seeing everyone testify. It seems as if Trump and Barr are acting to stop witnesses who were cited in Mueller’s report from testifying. Barr also blocked an order from a judge who wanted the tapes from the Flynn/Kalimnik surveillance released to the public. Barr and Trump are running a Nixon/Mitchell style dog and pony show here. I certainly hope the courts don’t buy it.

    They can start an impeachment but why would they? He was not accused of a crime. And the witnesses already testified to the trained prosecutors and FBI agents what new are they going to tell Congress? Let Congress start and impeachment if they want to drag these people in front of them for now they have no criminal referral so what are they going to impeach for?

    Not from Mueller or Congress but then according to the Democrats and Mueller he can't be charged or indicted. So what's the purpose of any investigations?

    I don't think you really understand what the Mueller report said or what Muller's last statement actually meant.

    10 of the 29 are DOJ investigations, several by Congress, and the rest by the staties.

    Well actually a more appropriate discription would be whining and crying an stamping their feet and in general acting like spoiled children because they can't get there way, but what ever floats you boat.

    Congress has no business nor authority to conduct a criminal investigation. Impeachment is not a criminal prosecution. The DOJ has no business nor authority to conduct an impeachment investigation for congress.

    No, RodB, you have been accurately corrected time and again on that false premise of yours. Yes, Congress can investigate any issue that pertains to their oversight, and criminal activities, such as the Mafia or the Trump crime family, are legitimate targets.

    Another witch hunt. Then lets start an investigation into each of the announced Democrat candidates just to see if they are crooks. If that is the case it would be nice to know.

    I am sure that the Trump campaign is looking into the background of any possible opponent in the 2020 election. It would be stupid not to. Also, I am sure that partisan members of congress are also probing the backgrounds of possible opponents. That’s politics. Barr is now engaged in an investigation into Trump’s political opponents as he was instructed to by Trump. Is that also a witch hunt? Trump is getting the same treatment that Nixon, Reagan and Clinton got in Watergate, Iran Contra and Whitewater. Politics as usual.

    Dems are clearly abusing their power if they are attempting a criminal investigation. They do not have the authority to do a criminal investigation.
