In last nights Democratic debates all 10 candidates support giving government-run health care to illegal immigrants.

Do you support this as well?

I oppose the idea of some person on death row getting a heart transplant.
But, it happens.

 

Personally, I can't endorse government-run healthcare of ANY kind at this point. At some point in the future, a "single-payer" system may be inevitable, and it could even be made into a desirable system -- but any kind of healthcare model that is nothing but another gigantic welfare/'subsidy' handout is the WORST thing I can think of -- especially for a United States that is already TWENTY-TWO TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT. Obviously, in this poll I voted, "No"....

Now, make that even WORSE by doling out free healthcare to alien citizens -- illegal, 'migrants', criminals, 'asylum'-fraudsters, and every other category you can think of, and then we'll have the recipe for a very real f*cked-up DISASTER....

 

I have no issues with resident aliens getting govt handouts. Illegals and those waiting on disposition should be locked up until shipped out.

If illegals in critical conditions are given healthcare, I actually don't mind if they're deported afterwards. It's basically the taxpayer money being used for humanitarian aid.

In fact I even think it can be better for the government to do that since they'll respect the law, instead of NGO's which are known to actively support illegal immigration.

Unfortunately infections do not confine themselves to one person or even one group of people. Is it not better to have an illegal alien who may have a highly resistant TB treated and isolated rather than infecting large numbers of the populace?

 

Not a single "Yes" vote. Not yet anyway.

 

There will be even less support for this kind of idiocy once libs finally realize that every penny spent on handout welfare for illegal aliens means one penny less on handout welfare for our own, 'home-grown', welfare-sucking citizens!

As it is, though, most radical Democrats are totally unaware of this because, so far, they haven't had to give up anything, and they don't care because they don't pay any federal income tax anyway!

 

Just a few months ago, called me a liar for claiming they want open borders. They just support what they are told to

 

force Americans to by the healthcare they want to give away to foreign nationals who come and go unchecked and unregulated at will.

 

Preventing them being here in the first place would be even better.

 

You show a a random foreign national, and they will give you a reason they should be allowed to come and go unchecked and unregulated at will.

 

It depends on whether they are paying into a system, and the nature of the medical problem. We want them to show up if they may have communicable diseases or STDS, or symptoms that appear similar. We want those treatments out where the diseases are spreading. We want them to show up if they have been the victim of violence, or a bad batch of drugs. We need to know what is going on out there. we need to track disease patterns and new viruses. We need to know about gang related violence and new drugs or cocktails. You can uphold patient confidentiality and still code patterns. We don't need to know who wants a boob job or who had a heart attack or who has colon cancer. So there you are left with moral dilemnas.

 

I was the first one to vote yes. I support it. I don't understand the resistance to it. You're already paying for them now.

 

Deportation of illegal immigrants is one of the few things I agree with Trump on and rather than give them healthcare we should simply send them away or spend the resources to stop them in the first place. No freakin' wall will do that but a war footing would.

 

So...if someone paid you to kick a homeless person...would you?

Giving incentive to be an illegal is a very bad idea.

 

They're here, there are migrant Caravans coming from South America and Middle America. It doesn't matter they're coming anyway. But it's not like we're going to give them citizenship amnesty is off the table.

 

As brutal as it sounds....Once the first one is shot the rest will probably turn around, just as giving the first one free healthcare will make the rest come running.

 

What they said is that illegals should get health insurance. That isn't mean government-run, government insurance, or taxpayer funded. If the illegals go uninsured, then we are basically paying their costs when they go to the hospitals. When they get insurance, they are actually paying into the system, and since they are younger in general, they are actually paying our costs more than we are paying theirs.

Democrats like the vast majority of Americans don't support the mass deportation or illegals, and want some kind of compromise proposals. Since they are going to be here, it makes sense they pay into our healthcare system since they are using our facilities.

the fact is, something like this would never pass at the federal level, as not enough votes in Congress to support it

 

If they have reason to believe they will be isolated, as in confined against their will, possibly in cooperation with efforts on the part of the hospital with deportation attempts, they will not seek treatment no matter what coverage they may or may not have access to.

 

Now, I think hospitals are required to stabilize anyone in critical condition who lands at their door, no matter who it is. But I suspect Dems want to give them complete healthcare, such as yearly physicals, mental health services, a dermatologist if they get a pimple, etc. These are services many American citizens do not have.

and even if everyone got free healthcare, many Americans would take a backseat to illegals who would devour the resources at a rate we could not sustain. We cannot absorb the worlds populations into our system. It's not possible.
