The word racist, as well as other slurs, have lost all meaning when uttered by liberals/progressives/socialists.
Right wingers routinely called Obama a racist when he was in office. To this day righties call anyone who dares to criticize Israel as anti semite. Nobody plays the race card more than do righties. By the way, this may well be the 10th thread we've had on the subject. Can we have them all put into one so that links are not needlessly repeated?
We have had numerous threads where righties claim libs/progressives hate whites and are at war with them. This despite the fact that the vast majority of those people are white which proves those claims were merely right wing projections of themselves. Do we really need another thread with righties making the same claims that have been debunked on this forum hundreds of times?
You think things like affirmative action were put in place because blacks aren’t capable? Please tell me you don’t really believe that. Please tell me you just had a brain fart.
What other reason would there be for the creators of that policy of preference based only on race? And no, I'm not a liberal. I dont believe anyone should be given an advantage or disadvantage based on race.
Things were so much easier back during the 1800's when there was no such thing or word as "racist." Even the definition of "race" had nothing to do with the color of one's skin. The closest thing back in the day to today's revisionist definition of race was tribe or tribal. "Donald Trump is a tribalist !!!" "If you didn't vote for Obama you are a triabalist."
As has been proven enough times on this forum, it is white women who are the biggest beneficiaries of affirmative action. Mind you up to now white men were always the biggest beneficiaries. All this previously proven. As always, righties love to start arguments on this forum and that is why they started this thread when the subject has been discussed hundreds of times here. This, of course, keeps people's attention away from Trump's many failings so that the problem he and they cause never get solved.
I've actually found that liberals/progressives/socialists tend to do this. See this study that revealed how those on the left talk down to black people: https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...le-new-study-contends/?utm_term=.bbf4a011c313
What problem would that be? Lower taxes? Lower u employment? Rising wages? I know we cabt get the communist utopia leftists want when things are going good, but that's actually a good thing, not a bad thing.
It's a good link, I just checked. Here's the meat of it: A new study suggests that the words you use may depend on whether the club secretary’s name is Emily (“a stereotypically White name,” as the study says) or Lakisha (“a stereotypically Black name”). If you’re a white liberal writing to Emily, you might use words like “melancholy” or “euphoric” to describe the mood of the book, whereas you might trade these terms out for the simpler “sad” or “happy” if you’re corresponding with Lakisha. But if you’re a white conservative, your diction won’t depend on the presumed race of your interlocutor.
I don't hear it on local news, but nationally literally every time something bad happens there appears to be a quick litmus test for lefties to determine if there is potential to cry wolf, yet again, the ONLY qualifier is: a) committed or said by a white b) committed on or said about a non white Its embarrassing.
no, its not possible. I agree that It would be nice if we could do that, but the practice has gone away to the point where its infrequent at best and only for fringe types. The accusations and words are used used daily by those that have a voice (but shouldn't have one)
Stop racism unless it supports the progressive narrative .ie (white privilege, white guilt, white toxicity, "white supremacy", white etc) Make all minorities believe whites are oppressing them and claim to be the political party of "salvation" to confirm places in power guaranteed by their votes and funding. Boy you all sure are eliminating institutional and systematic racism aren't ya?
I was just making a comment. That being said studies can be biased/skewed. Gotta take many of them with a grain of salt.
