The various paths all move toward a reduction of violence along that path. Reform the existing LPS type laws and get the mentally ill the treatment they need and deserve and overall violence will be reduced. Why are there more mentally ill people in prison than in mental treatment facilities.

 

They pro marijuana and its derivatives advocates actually suppresses the distribution of the research that shows links between marijuana and mental illness and violence.

Try explaining that to the family of Nathan Jones who killed his mother in 2006. She had complained of her son't mental illness for years but could get no treatment or help from the police.
