My great friend, just build a long "beautiful wall" all the way around the country to isolate the US from the outside world. Let all Americans buy and sell American goods to each other only, and the US will surely enter its golden age. :unclesam:

My great friend, you are still swallowing the so-called "life-saving coronavirus drugs" of Fox News.

Please use your brain before you swallow anything. :fishing:

And finally, let two global experts debunk your ridiculous thread:

"There is no recognized therapeutic against coronaviruses," said Mike Ryan, executive director of the WHO Health Emergencies Programme, during a press conference on Jan. 29.

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the US, has commonly stated a vaccine is at least a year to 18 months away.

You realise that is a direct copy-paste of the OP Fox article (though it isn't entirely clear who copied form whom). It still doesn't have any direct reference to the Xinhua article (even if it's only in Chinese, some independent voices would be able to translate) and no direct quote relating to the primary claim (it should always make you suspicious when the media paraphrase rather than directly quote since it's an easy way to misrepresent or exaggerate what someone actually said).

But then, somewhat ironically given the focus of the objection, this seems to be more about propaganda against China than anything else. They're all as bad as each other.

Male bovine excrement! What would the objective of such an operation be? To infect our own people? To bring down our own economy?

If we were going to test a dispersal system for a biowarfare weapon, someplace like Wuhan would be the worst choice for a test location. A city of nearly 8.5 million citizens, with an international airport. There would be no way to contain the spread.

The US spread is no plausible at all, when you consider the facts. First, using a Biological weapon dispersal system, it would have to be aerosol in nature. That would lead the area saturated with bioagent spores. That would mean that the first cases would be found within days instead of nearly a month later. (The war games ran from October 18 to the 27th. The Patient Zero was identified on November 17th. Nearly a month later, and two weeks after the day he/she should have been detected under the false scenerio.) Further, no US Military was seen wearing biological protection equipment. That means that the personnel that dispersed the agent would have been exposed. Yet, they did not contract the disease? Highly unlikely. Finally, there is the fact that the US did not have a sample of the disease on-hand to create test kits, or manufacture a vaccine. The US had to wait on China to map the diseases' Genome DNA. This is why the media keeps blaming President Trump for the delays in having test kits readily available. It does not matter that the reasons for the delay is outside his control. He is still to blame, right? WRONG!!!!

When you look at facts, this is not plausible at all.

Oh look. You followed up male bovine excrement with horse dropping. You really do love your facial matters.

When you do a little research, the reasons for the story changes becomes glaring. The first statement, that a person was bitten by a bat at the open market was based on actually examining Patient Zero. That story remained into effect until a so-called whistleblower claimed that a faction of the Chinese Government attempted to infect US Troops with the Coronavirus during the Wuhan war games. (If you click on the word whistleblower, it will link you to the article.) That whistleblower also said that a scientist had been hired at the Wuhan Institute on Virology to find a way of using bats delivering a SARS type virus. In case you haven't guessed, the Wuhan Institute of Virology is the only lab in China that can work with live viruses, and it is linked to China Biowarfare program. While this whistleblower's scenario is no more plausible as the "US did it" scam, it did link two points that the Chinese government did not want linked. That is the bats and the proximity to the bioweapon's lab. It is highly plausible that the lab was testing the virus on bats, and that one got loose. It bit someone at the open market, that person became known as Patient Zero. The whistleblower report would have hit too close to the mark. So, the Chinese government then changed the story to people eating skunks. Then a member of the US Legislature started asking questions about the Wuhan Lab. Again the story was too close to the mark, and threatened Chinese's reputation. So, they floated the story that the US was the source of the spread of the virus in China.

You see the plausibility is only plausible when you ignore the facts.

I get a bitter-sweet chuckle when people respond as you have, disregarding what I've said on the subject but plucking a word or two of it and trying to make a case from that alone. If you would actually read what I've written you would already have most of your questions answered but If reading is too taxing on your eyes you can maybe have someone else read it out loud for you?

the article put the light upon rubio for making that statement...

the fda clearly hinted that china has too much control over our meds...

here's the article that most likely fueled rubio's rant:

That's still missing my point. The headline accusation was that an article in the Chinese state-run media threated to deny the US (specifically), access to lifesaving drugs. I am suspicious that there is no link to that article and no direct quote of the alleged threat. I was mainly curious whether all the people leaping on the claim and attacking China in return have actually seen the primary source or whether they’re all blindly accepting whatever these reports are telling them to believe.

There is a wider lesson here in seeking out the primary sources for any claim or statement, especially if it’s one you want to believe.

    yeah, i get that...

the link in the articles i read all point to this chinese media:

    http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/

searching that media with keywords brings up zero results, which 'could' mean they scrubbed the comments or that they were never made...

if i get bored later, i'll spoof a chinese ip and search their internet, but in all honesty i really don't care about the issue...

what matters is supplies & meds will become scarce, which plays right into the hands of the dnc...

the outbreak provides them with the perfect excuse to push through restrictions on a myriad of issues, without due process... a dem dream come true...

You don't care about people trying to stir up even more division and hatred between two nuclear powers?

Petty US domestic political hatred is fairly secondary in the grand scheme of things (though it'd obviously be better if you all stopped doing it). It isn't the topic of this thread anyway.

    • Insulting or personally attacking other posters (Rule 2)
    <Rule 2>

Why is what you posted stupid? Simple if each question is reversed it will come up with the opposite response. Let me show you:

*** The beginnings of the Coronavirus is a “who done it” but if we follow the clues we can make a very good guess:

Question: Who has a stock of every living virus and plague known to man stashed away in laboratory test tubes and petri dishes?
ANSWER: China. Further, they have them in a lab located right in the same city the virus started.

Question: Who has a centennial-long grudge against US?
ANSWER: China. Of course the grudge actually dates back to before the Boxer Rebellion which started back in 1899. So, that would actually be nearly one and a quarter centuries.

Question: Who today is in a tooth and nail industrial war with US?
ANSWER: China. Strange, how they get mad when other countries make them follow the same patent, licensing and copywrite laws that the rest of the world follows.

Question: Who has been threatening the rest of the world with nuclear & biological strikes?
ANSWER: China, North Korea, Iran and Russia.

Question: Who has been secretly experimenting on human beings with gasses, drugs, and biological substances ever since the 1940s?
ANSWER: Not the US. To claim otherwise, you would need to offer actual proof. Unless your one of those tin foil hat wearing conspiracy nuts!!!!!
So ….... who is the most likely suspect in this very typically-American scenario? Anyone other then the US.

    Here is the bonus question:

Question: Which country is talking about dumping the Treasury Bonds of the other in order to crash other countries currency?
Answer: China is talking about dumping the US Treasury Bonds.

My post actually dealt with what the China had said and why. <Mod Edit> So, which one is more plausible? Answer: Not yours!!!!

lol boxer rebellion, you do know they were helping US during WWII right. heck we were selling them state of art weapon in 80s to counter USSR. China dont care about industrial war, they care about making $$, and get US consumer to buy their stuff. as for nuclear, not sure when did china said they gonna nuke US, the have 2-300 warhead, they can build thousands if they choose too, they didn't cause they are not stupid to start a nuke war.. experiment in 1940 lol, china was so poor till like 1980s, they barely have qualify western medicine in 80s.
as for treasury bond dumping, you link? they lose more if they dumb it. ppl been saying china gonna dumb bond, for many many years, hasn't happen it yet.

We can always make our very own of course, but makes me wonder if they already have the cure, then why is it so fast for them to formulate one.
