    I am trying to think of a good reason for Trump make the DP pols in NYC and LA to stop ordering their police to stand down as rioters burn their cities. I can't think of a very good one

    We have at least two deadly diseases in America today - COVID19 and murderous white supremacy.

    Protesters don't have the tools to control what is going on outside their portests.

    Blaming protesters for riots and theft is just a BS political move. It's often the protesters who call for response to end violence.

    It was a while back, but I was in downtown Seattle during the WTO protests - not protesting, just happened to be there.. Protestors were NOT committing any violce. But, later a know group of anarchists arrived and other yahoos joined to break glass, etc. The news around the US was that PROTESTERS were violent - which was ABSOLUTLEY false.

    The movement to have innocent individuals not be killed by police is not intrested in stealing crap from the local Walmart.

    What the heck did THEY do?

    Let's remember that the COVID infecting people in the USA came from EUROPE. Only a couple west coast states that were infected early on have COVID coming from China.

    What happened is that the US as a whole TOTALLY failed to protect ourselves from what is fully known to be a natural disaster.

    We have NO other nation to blame for what WE did.

    All barriers to entry into the USA should have been made impenetrable and the Army put on the southern border.

    Maybe next time. Next time the disease could be far, far worse.

    A) Not really relevant to my comment.
    B) Still not accurate. These people took a risk to express their shock and anger at something very important to them. You still need to engage in social distancing as well as any other pandemic control measure appropriate to your situation because this virus is still very much a threat.

    The country elected a ****ing moron to the presidency and some still defended him even after he suggested injecting disinfectants and UV light into the lungs as a way to kill covid-19, so I agree that it is a risk.

    The CDC said the WHO test was flawed and wanted it's own instead. Whether that was true or not I don't know. I've lost all faith in the CDC
