I’m guessing their expertise with firearms was gleaned from hour and hours of video tutorials produced by Hollywood.

 

Except shes at the Mayor's house at that point, not at the McClosky's stately Florentine villa.

 

Which is located in the same community and would have gone right past the McClosky's house, considering that is where they entered.

 

They never touch the grass which is past the side walk and part of the McClosky's yard in the video you show. Maybe it was another video you saw?
Additionally: That law profs theory about HOA owned private streets really being partially owned by the McClosky's is a massive stretch. Its owned by the HOA, the McClosky's and other owners simply have the right to use it and their HOA dues go to service those areas. MOs castle law doctrine does indeed cover property, but it has to be yours or property you've been charged in writing by the owner with protecting. Texas has a similar law. The McClosky's would've produced such a letter, if they had one, before the first news cycle was up.

As to the news caster talking about the protesters claim that the gate stood open, I HAVE seen video on Sargon of Akkad's channel discussing this issue a video that shows someone opening that wrought iron gate while it still stood and walking through with other people.

And they pulled up in a car during the "2nd live shot" of that reporter IE the crowd had made it on from the McClosky's and to the Mayors house and that reporter had had the time to do a full take, and was setting up for take two. Which means they drove past the McClosky's after the crowd was gone and the video long over and therefore you can't say definitively (or even in all likelihood) that this person was at the McClosky's presenting an AK.

I doubt they ever expected to have to defend their home and their lives from a mob of criminals when there were no police to come and protect them. Without those weapons they would have been easy prey.

 

I've yet to hear you criticize the criminals who forced her to use it, you're more concerned with how she held it...........amazing.

No one forced her to be completely irresponsible in handling her firearm. Notice how I'm not criticizing the guy with the rifle and instead focused on her?

it looks like she clearly approached the protesters with her gun pointed at them, and that is a crime.

Yes we do there was a criminal mob that had just broken through a gate and they were threatening them. We have seen the burning and looting and assaults these mobs engage in. No you're defending the criminals..........geeezzzzzz.

 

The criminals in that mob who had just broken onto that private property which posed a threat did. Why are you focused on a poor woman who was probably scared to death, and you guys talk about your compassion........geeeeezzzz.

 

I agree that the reporter taking her 2nd live shot at the mayor's house some distance away from the McCloskys witnessed a car pull up and a man flash an AK. At the mayor's house some time after the incident at the McCloskys had finished. Time enough for a 500 person crowd (which doesn't move quickly) to get to the mayor's house from the McCloskys and the camera crew to arrive and set up, 1 shot to be done and it was a live shot so they would've had to wait to be broadcast and then do it and they had a 2nd to do so they had to wait some more and while doing that the described incident occurs.
That in no way shape or form shows this guy with the AK is at the McCloskys. In fact, the gate busted down was a pedestrian gate, and Mr AK shows up in a vehicle. The vehicle gate was not damaged during the McClosky incident, only the pedestrian gate. And we don't see a car in the crowd at the McClosky's. Which leads me to believe he shows up as a johnny come lately.

Advocating? I'm not sure I'm advocating anything. I am saying that the reporter doesn't prove or even CLAIM that an AK was at the McCloskys by the statement you posted.

all that stuff existed when I was a kid, it was normally too expensive.

yeah when I went and visited my cousin some of them had all the toys. The coolest one was Lazer tag. You would wear at Target on you and you have a gun that shoot of being that the target would pick up it would make a noise.

 

laws aside, i dont support pointing a gun at anyone unless they are clearly a threat to your life or property.

these folks were marching a good 40 feet away from the couples front door.

i see no evidence that they approached their house.

looks like the couple came outside, guns ablaze, and were provoking the crowd.

the lady even approached the crowd and pointed a gun at them.

They are part of the same crowd proving they were not peaceful. The right to keep and bear arms is fine for public spaces, but not for private neighborhoods.

 

No, they joined the crowd once at the Mayor's house some distance into the neighborhood away from the McClosky's, or haven't you listened to the reporter's statement? Explicitly by her statement the car pulls up long after the McClosky incident and cannot be shown by that statement to be part of the crowd at the McClosky's. You'll need more.
The reporter never sees them at the McClosky's and no footage from the scene at the McClosky's shows a vehicle in the crowd.
Unless the guy was let into the neighborhood by someone, then as an invitee he would retain all his rights. And since the vehicle gate wasn't broken down, someone had to have let him in.
