In the US, protests are gradually dying down. Negroes, however, sporadically continue to put whites on their knees, and recently one was completely run over by a car just for being white. But the genocide of monuments has weakened, the number of robberies has become noticeably less, the black rebels are returning to their homes and ghettos.
Nevertheless, for some reason, satisfaction is not heard in the statements of American politicians. And the previously unthinkable thought continues to roll around the world - the USA may disintegrate! Moreover, experts are discussing how exactly America will disintegrate - into the North and South, or into liberal and conservative states, or even into separate states such as the California Federation or the Texas Republic.
No one can predict what will happen in the fall. When the election results do not suit either side.
And the most important question involuntarily arises. The collapse of the country - the collapse of the army?
The United States has a huge stockpile of strategic nuclear weapons. And also with chemical weapons, which, by the way, they have not yet destroyed. And in what hands it will fall, how responsible will those people who will possess these weapons be, this is a big question.
When the Soviet Union collapsed, American politicians and the military were very worried that Soviet nuclear weapons would fall into someone else's hands. Therefore, they applied everything, all their might, diplomatic, political, economic, so that nuclear weapons remained only with Russia, and not in Ukraine, not in Belarus, not in Kazakhstan. This was a very serious problem, and only under pressure from the United States did they manage to withdraw these weapons.
In this case, no one will exert such pressure on the US balances.
The USA can collapse just like the USSR. Suddenly and quickly. Only in the USSR there was one concept of collapse, but in the USA there are two options.
One option would boil down to democratic change. In the wildest, frenzied form - with the establishment of, let's say, racial preferences, that is, with elements of racism, and distortedly represented socialism. With a serious infringement of the rights the white population.
The second option is direct and overt fascism.
Naturally, these two options are mutually exclusive. And the number of supporters of both options is roughly equal. Therefore, in the event of an election, the losing side most likely will not recognize the election. Therefore, instability in the United States will continue to grow. And I believe that society will take up arms. I think within a year and a half, maybe two, they will get a full-scale war.
But what will the army do? The American army is, of course, the most technically advanced and most armed in the world. But this will not play the main role. The social and racial structure of the American army will play a decisive role.
And it is characterized by the fact that in the US Army at different levels of the army hierarchy there are quite serious racial contradictions. If the officer corps is mostly white, and in the middle and higher echelons it is almost exclusively white, then in the junior officer corps there is already a fairly large percentage of the colored population. And if you take the rank and file, the percentage of the colored population is already very large. Even, I would say, dominant, predominant over white. Therefore, most likely, the American army will split. And these splits will be both racial - white versus colored - and hierarchical. American sergeants and contract soldiers versus officers. Well, roughly the way it was in Russia in 1917, but in a milder form.
At the first stage of military confrontation in society, the American army will stand aside. However, in the future, as the military conflict escalates and the armed forces are inevitably drawn into this conflict, we will see a rather serious confrontation within the American army.
But the American army stands all over the world. And what will happen outside the United States?
I think everything will be the same as inside, but with a delay. But those countries in which American bases are located, in these conditions, will take measures simply to seize the equipment and personnel of these bases. Because these bases have weapons.
In the event of the transition of the civil conflict in the United States to the shooting phase, the army cannot stand aside. She will clearly refrain from interfering as long as the riots can be pacified by the police and the National Guard. But if society splits along the line of the legitimacy of the future president, which the other side will not recognize, then the army will have no one to give orders. At first. And then she will be forced to get involved in the conflict. But on whose side?
What do you think about this?

You should write a Thriller novel. You could probably make a decent living, what with your imagination.

Is 3% in reference to the proportion of them with an IQ above 100?

Those Gomers thought they'd actually have to fight for the societal collapse they've been praying for.

Now they get to sit back, relax, and watch the leftist riot mobs do all the work for them.

American partners in NATO, Italians, say - Time is the most honest man. We'll see.
For example. On August 1, 1991, could you imagine that in 20 days the Soviet Union would collapse?
Or could you imagine last year that whites and police in the US would kiss blacks' feet?

I agree. But the statements of these characters are an occasion to consider the possible further development of the confrontation in the United States.
Do you disagree with my statement that US public opinion is roughly split in half?
Do you disagree with my suggestion that after the presidential election, not everyone will recognize the election results?
Do you disagree that post-election confrontation can lead to conflicts?

Their opinion is irrelevant. But this is a reason to think about the possible development of events. I showed my forecast. Can you object? - Object.

There isn't a year that goes by that someone somehwhere predicts "the end". Both of various countries and the end of the world. Why people give them the time of day I have no clue.

The US is in a rough place right now. But we've been in worse. And survived. So long as good men do something then we will continue to survive. (I predict that someone will make a certain comment about a certain someone...bet ya my prediction will have more validity than these people)

Yes, very much so. I'd say around 40/60 against you, Most people agree with the Protestors, at least some. The core values of the United States have not turned over to the Fourth Reich
Not everyone has recognized any election the US has ever had
    Conflicts always happen, so what?

Russia collapsed because its rulers could no longer deliver basic goods and services. There were no riots and the Army didn't do anything but watch. Even in the midst of this pandemic, I note that the grocery stores are still open with full shelves and the electricity has never faltered.

You are making the basic mistake of all violent ultra-conservatives. You think we all agree with you and are all just chomping at the bit to risk our lives and families to help you impose an oppressive tyranny on the country. That is not the case at all.

Nah, not hope. Confidence. And a bit of dismissal mixed in because I've heard it more than I care to count. Besides, I've got places to go if things do hit the fan. GL finding me in them. ;)

No, they don't. That's a myth brought on by faulty observation and sloppy thinking, two things characteristic of most ultra-conservatives.

I'd say neo liberal capitalism is over - is on its last legs and cannot provide for the people. The US is not alone in this position but of course it has had all the advantages these last decades being the Reserve currency.

This economic situation is not too different to prior to WW2. Then Roosevelt introduced the New Deal apparently with the intent of saving Capitalism. The US could have moved to fascism or Revolution. That seems to have been the choice. Either move to a socialised Capitalism, Revolution or Fascism. I have heard it is the MC who decides the move. Their situation I hear is that they have previously believed they had some power and now they have none. In that way the lowest paid apparently generally do not go towards fascism as they have never believed they have any power...but those a bit richer apparently are prepared to hang in with the fascists believing this will give them some degree of power and allowing them to look down on 'the other' as not only beneath them but responsible for all the problems. I'd say the US is pretty much moving along these lines. I hear that the majority of Americans are more attuned to a social democratic point of view which I have no reason not to believe. However, the so called 'left' in the US meaning the centrists (as well as centrists in other countries ;)) do not accept that neo liberalism is finished and what it has turned into is the transfer of money from the poor to the rich.

In such a situation I think fascism would win. If the Democratic Party was honest about the economy then you might have a chance but given that they are serving the 0/1% who pay their way rather than the people, they are not going to do it. What happened to Sanders and why he stopped I do not know but now the situation which is causing the social turmoil is going to continue and get worse - a lot worse and the only alternative to fascism is a new economic system. It is true that due to his obvious incapability displayed during Covid 19, Trump has lost much of his following....however the demons have been woken up and the Democratic Party does not have the ability to put them in the box because it answers to those who have created this situation....and as far as Democracy is concerned anyway people are beginning to come right out with the fact that the US is not one and would probably feel the need to attack another country they saw with its failings in this regard.

Fascism would keep people controlled. It would stop the increasing riots there will be. Fascism fighting Climate Change? The 0.1% will need to pay for this as they in the main created it and have the needed money. Will the last line be Bezo's vision of colonies in space or will the US elite just decide to end it with the most spectacular war and of course retreat to their own space colonies. Who knows?

A strange way to characterize demanding that mayors and governors do their basic job - protect life, liberty and property. It is the anarchists that are providing the oppressive tyranny.

I am very well read on the right and I keep up to fate with a variety of right wing thinkers across all forms of media.

Fascism is universally decried. People fall largely into two camps: there's the laissez-faire, classical liberal types that want government out of their wallets, bedrooms, and shooting ranges, and there's the socially conservative war hawk types.

The only fascists I've ever found have been on 8chan and a few anomolies scattered throughout internet forums. They are not running through the streets throwing commercial grade fireworks, shooting cops, violently rioting in cities all across the country with support from the establishment.

    "Capitalism, revolution, or fascism"

Revolution is not an ideology, it is a means to enacting that ideology. I think what you mean is socialism.

In any case, if like you suppose a fascist takeover is imminent, you can count on myself and almoat everyone I know on the right to take up arms with you against them.

Just to clarify, this is a small group that has named themselves after a larger -unaffiliated- group. III% refers to the (rough) percentage of the Colonial American population that was necessary to take up arms to fend off England in the revolutionary war. A very wide, diverse and generally unconnected variety of Americans identify today as 'III%'ers, having little if anything in common beyond a support of 2A rights as they pertain to self- and national- defense, and probably a preference for greater states rights over federal authority.

I am a 'III%'er, and I have never even heard of the group depicted in the OP until about 5 mins ago.
