    Yes sir. Still kickin' it with the band...just hard to find a place to play lately. And still riding the bike. And where else to hang than in the bar! A beer sounds good right about now.

    Now you know better.Bars are now open at 6 am and last call is
    9 am. One reason is medical.The best way to build antibodies is to
    get plenty of sleep.You don't get enough sleep and you can't fight
    a cold effectively.So git to bed early and go bar hopping when the sun
    is still sleeping.

    My bike is in the shop.. rebuilding the front brakes, just need an hour to do them! Truth is... I it just about too hot to ride here.. anddon't talk to foolhardi about bikes.. he hates HD riders! LOL

    Rebuilding or replacing old worn out stuff like pads or lines.
    Maybe a rotor or caliper.Bleeding alone could take a half hour.
    Remember No air in lines is the thing.
    Has Harley ever got around to making their own Brakes.
    Or do they merely farm out brakes and brand the name Harley.
    Granted I was serious about buying the 2019 Harley FXDR 114.
    But as usual they weren't available.Plus that bike ended up costing
    TWICE as much as my Yamaha XSR 900.Which I can almost
    Gar-Own-Tee I can whip in the 1/4 mile.Plus handles and brakes
    better.What a motorcycle is all about.

    Temps went up to 88 degrees surface temp yesterday but only 86 today. Would still like to get down to 84 max. It takes a long time for water to lose the heat. 2 degrees a day would be perfect. Until stable at under 85.

    Got the pool temp down to 84 at sunset. So a loss of 4 degrees in 24 hours. So if the temp goes to 69 tonight it should drop more by morning. And rain will help a lot rain takes out a lot of heat.... It's raining!!! I also save as much rainwater as possible.

    Ha...well I used to ride the crotch rockets and the dirt bikes. Getting too old for speed anymore. I got rid of the Ultra Classic and got a smaller street glide. Much easier on the back.

    Can anyone guess at how this works?

    I got a statement from my health insurance company today.

    The doctor had put me on cholesterol pills.

    The statement says that the pharmacy asked for $1,524.04, for 90 days of pills.

    The statement says that the insurance paid $23.78.

    The statement says that I owe $0.00.

    That is how much I was billed.



    Is this some kind of "New Math"?

    I'm reminded of the time Martha Stewart { "it's a good thing " } was
    On Larry King as a guest.For whatever reason she arrived with a
    freshly boxed cheesecake.I believe it was one of New York's finest.
    In New York you must use a fork to eat their cheesecake.
    I guess because they are so thick and strurdy.
    Anywho ... Forks and plates were made available as King
    and Stewart stared at their slice of cheesecake.However before King
    was allowed to dig-in Martha had to give a short history lesson on what
    makes a good cheesecake and How it must be eaten.King was getting antsy.
    Martha wouldn't shut-up.All King wanted to do was dig-in.
    So he did.But Stewart berated him for how he was eating that slice of
    cheesecake.Like it was Bad manners to cut into it like King did.
    King finally told her to shut-up { or similar words } already and eat
    yer slice.It was funny.I don't believe Martha Stewart was ever on Live
    TV before and told to shut-up already.
