Can you point to any of those lefties? I, for one, am not one of them. It's quite a claim to state that Democrat supporters like to see their cities trashed and damage done.

Gang bangers will shoot less people in Chicago if there was no prevalence of guns? Gotta say the stats done support that theory.

Haven't seen a single one denounce the riots, but rather support the narrative like "defund the police". Isn't it the BLM group that phrased the term, "Silence is Violence"? If so, you and your fellow lefties are very violent.

Over 65 days of riots, looting, assault, etc. in predominantly democratic controlled cities and very little response from the lefties mayors/governors. It's just allowed to happen. That's the same thing as support or else it would have been stopped by now.

I 100% agree. After an initial protest and the following days turn into nothing but rioting and looting, I don't care which side you are on, If you show up and are involved in any type of violence, you are subject to arrest.

It's an odd time to talk about getting rid of guns when people are buying them up faster than gun stores can restock their shelves.

Since most of today's record level gun buyers are first time gun owners, it appears that more and more people are able to grasp the reality that the police cannot or will not be there to protect you against rapists, home invaders and other violent individuals who prey on the unarmed or disarmed with impunity.

With apologists for the criminal element demanding the defunding of police departments, you can expect that already long response time to your 911 call to be even longer if anyone shows up at all.

To give you an idea of how ineffective gun control laws are, please note that there are well over 50 countries(1) with draconian gun laws and nothing like America's 2nd Amendment but these 50+ countries still have much higher homicide rates than the US.

You are welcome to give up your own guns but don't expect rational Americans to give up theirs.

Well then you haven't been looking very hard or paying attention. When all of the protests began, there were many who spoke up and supported peaceful protesting but denounced violence or destruction (riots). After time, however, the word protest was ignored and it all became about the riots here at PF. How many times are we expected to denounce something? Speaking for myself, I no longer participate in or contribute to threads that are frequented by those who refuse to see protests - only violence.

Oh I'm paying lots of attention. You can't keep punching someone all the while telling them you're not.

At this point in time, after 65 days of this, exactly what point are you trying to make?

After 65 days of chaos, destruction, and riots, they still want to feed us with the "peaceful protests" bullshit.

There are protesters and there are rioters. Both should not be viewed as the same.

Protesting, while not my cup of tea, ok and a right.

All rioters are pieces of crap and should be thrown in jail.

You'd be happier if they were killed with slings? Run over with cars blown to smithereens? Guns aren't the problem evil human beings are. There were cops long before there were guns.
