Will Trump barricade himself in the Oval Office if he loses to Biden?

I do anticipate an erratic scenario such as barricading himself in the Oval Office.

I have every reason to believe Trump is damn scared of losing, and like President Maduro, staying in power is their only “stay out of jail card”

I also believe many Republicans do suspect the same, however, for partisan reasons, let’s sweep said suspected truth under the carpet.

I once said; “One day, Trump will urinate in his pants”, and said day is fast approaching.

Sounds like an emotional reaction. He will likely contest results and Dems have handed him many gifts he can use if it is close. The hanging chad issue will look like a picnic by comparison.

Better to ask how many people are manning the suicide hotlines when Trump pulls it out at the end. As he's been known to do so many times in the past.

Actually, only once... he usually just pays off the porn star rather than pulling out.

Takes a special kind of crazy to even think that would be an issue.. Pres Trump has followed the constitution closer than any President we know.

They spread rumors about Trump all of which aren't true. People with active brains know what's up.

No, he will cry fraud, his side will file multiple lawsuits, the count will stall, courts will find in his favor (wrongly, but simply because he has nominated enough loyalists), and like in 2000 (but in a much more serious way) he will steal the election. The American centuries-long experience with Democracy will end, and we'll become a Banana Republic with a dictator.

It's hard to say what Donald Trump will do physically if he loses, but you can bet he's going to blow up Twitter and insult millions and millions of people multiple times. For weeks, if not months on end.

He will make the daily stream of bullshit he has spewed forth since elected seem like a trickle.

I used to think it was going to completely hilarious watching him explode, but seeing how off-the-rails he has been over the last couple of months has drained some of the potential humor out of it. While I do not feel he will actually be allowed to hold on to power if he loses, he could certainly spawn some chaos in the 2 and a half months between election day and inauguration day.

And he is the type of vindictive petulant person that he might try to cause as much damage as he can on the way out. Again, not that he would be able to keep power, but a president having a 2 and a half month long temper tantrum could certainly hurt a lot of things.

He will happily walk out knowing he did more than any other President to improve this nation over the last few decades. He really doesn't need it.

crazy? no, just self-deluded. you have to remember that following the constitution is perhaps trump's greatest sin, beside simply not being "one of them". to them the constitution is a hindrance, not the set of basic rules that has made all that they enjoy possible.
do you mean bullshit like the years of "russian collusion" garbage that has been spewed hard enough to waste millions of taxpayer dollars on a failed attempt to illegitimately remove a duly elected president from office or the constant stream of false narratives that have been invented for the same purpose? do you mean petulance like the democratic head of the house of representatives calling long time democratic supporter wolf blitzer a trump apologist because he dared to not follow the party line to a tee? do you mean insulting millions like calling half of the nation a "basket of deplorables"? we have been watching "off the rails" for nearly four years, as the elements of the authoritarian progressive movement have used every trick in the book to keep anyone from helping america recover from the insanity of their mismanagement.

what is hilarious is watching the nation's malcontents consistently dining on manure and calling it a gourmet feast. i would like to think that such buffoons are not representative of an entire movement, but i'm afraid this is precisely the case. it's called projection. they see every sin that they would be willing to commit to bring about their fascist dystopia and project it upon those who would dare to stand in their way.

Contrary to many Trump doesn’t know his self interest: absolutely clueless. While he is self interested I suspect he’ll continue the clueless trend and make his life worse.

It’s a guarantee this loser will make a fool of himself.

That people are even having to worry about this just proves what a deplorable human being our so-called commander-in-chief is.
Here's another person who has seen through the cruelty and bullshit.

Considering that Russia was very much involved in promoting Donald Trump during the last election, just like they are during this one, investigations into collusion were entirely justified. Democrats and the media jumped the gun by claiming definitively that it happened without the evidence that truly back up that claim and they're idiots for it. But that doesn't mean the investigation itself was unjustified.

Nancy Pelosi is a jackass and isn't too far removed from Trump himself. That does not make Trump better, it just means Nancy is almost just as bad. I'll be as happy to see her go as I will be if Trump is shown the door.

Hillary Clinton is another jackass, and the only reason that we even have a President Trump today. You should be thanking her. If there had been a different candidate, Trump would have a third failed campaign instead of his first successful one.

Except that the mismanagement was occurring from within the Trump administration. Remember that for the first two years of his term, the Republicans held majority control of both houses of Congress AND the White House. All they really did during that time was cut their own taxes and the taxes of their corporate donors.

Everything you just said can be just as easily applied to a Trump supporter. These are folks who have no moral or ethical standards, or at the very least, do not believe elected officials should have them. They, and you as well if you voted for Trump, have no right whatsoever to call into question the morals and standards of any other politician or their supporter. It doesn't matter what goal these folks had by voting for Trump. A vote for a person like that is a vote for a person like that and everything that comes with them. This is why I hope with all of my being that Trump loses, but I will not be casting a vote for Joe Biden. He has not earned my vote.

It makes one wonder if any promoter of such a scenario has bothered to stop and think it through. First, you cut off power and, second, you refuse to supply water and food. At most . . . two days later . . . problem solved.

Ask not what Biden can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
Getting rid of trump before he destroys your country should be your first duty.
You have a choice to make.

All of this stuff about Trump refusing to leave office is a bit silly.

In the event of the worse case scenario that he does refuse to leave: The military and federal officers have taken an oath of office. That oath says we will defend the Constitution. It does not say a thing about defending the president.

I took my oath seriously and I am sure most of the others did also. If, on the remote possibility hat he does refuse to leave office,, he will be removed.
