    20201026_151641(1).jpg 20201026_151724(1).jpg My 2 new Angelfish. Just about dime size. I wanted black ones but these two looked pretty active, with good color and shape. I will get a couple more when I can find some that look good. Would love to see a female caring for her brood.

    How is the new computer? I want a new computer my husband said no. I wonder if asking for one at Christmas would work?

    LOL haven't unpacked it yet. I will in the next day or two. Went today and bought a new monitor (I just buy towers) and a word perfect which I have a billion copies of, but they are now only down to 2 installs per purchase. I need to order some other software that are likewise limited installation licenses---one being a worth it scanner program that allows me to scan and convert to PDF's with the click of a couple buttons.

    My county reported nine new cases of The Black Death since Friday. We went from fourteen to twenty three. That's a 64% jump.

    An apple of sorts is my knee-jerk reaction, but 'under the flowers' is rather vague. Nothing I recall seeing in your pictures would normally produce a seed pod or fruit like that, that I am aware of. It it come from the neighbor's yard?

    I think some critter tried to hide it. There are only apple, pear, and maple trees directly adjacent to the estate. I'll expand my area of observations. There are some odball trees in the neighborhood.
    For some reason, people around here like Monkey Puzzle trees.

    Got a full hood and they are doing well so far. Been a couple weeks. I am planning to move them to a bigger tank as soon as I can. They are alert and hungry all the time. Good signs.

    It looks like the weird fruit thing, I found, isn't such a mystery. I'm told it's a camellia seed pod. I'll have to look for more when it gets light out. Now, I wish I didn't cut that one up. I hope that there are more of them.
