Trump just stated emphatically, that there would be no lockdown under HIS administration. Fauci still works for Trump.

 

Here's what my state's governor had to say about it. I suspect he wouldn't be alone in this.

It really doesn't matter what the governor says. When people turn on their local news and hear the hospitals are full, they stay home.

 

Yes, the ideal medical solution is a total lock down. The ideal economic solution is to keep everything open, right up until you start tripping over the dead bodies when you go to Starbucks.

Given the effectiveness of wearing quality masks and social distancing, we hope masks and distancing alone will be enough to avoid a total runaway of the virus.

This is all very simple and makes perfect sense if you pay attention and don't spend all of your time whining.

 

Depending on how bad it gets, he may not have any choice. If the hospitals are overwhelmed, first responders can't respond, and mobile morgues are flooding hospital parking lots, they may have to go into a REAL lock down.

If righties and others listened to people like Fauci, this might have been avoided. It still might but people MUST wear quality masks and maintain social distancing as much as is possible. It doesn't matter if you're sick of it. We are ALL sick of it. But that is the way of the world. It is not in our control. We don't have a choice if we want to avoid complete and utter disaster. .

 

In the meantime, we had over 152,000 new infections detected today - another record.
