Whoops, make that more than 175,000 new cases today.

We should easily blow right past 200,000 new cases tomorrow.

Last summer, 77,000 new cases a day led to over 2000 dead per day.

Might be an idea to make sure Trump does everything by protocol before criticising Bidne. When it comes to the Pandmeic.....Trump deliberately blew it. Full stop. He could care less about managing.it......probably because he doesn't know how........and won't listen to the experts. Because he ignored it, scoffed at mask wearing.....his followers are doing the same..........and therefore we are seeing the pandemic rage now. the population has to take some responsibility too.

You can't look at it that way. Last summer we were only doing 800,000 tests a day. Now we are doing about 1.4 million.
It's bad and getting worse, but right now it's about the same as last summer.

BS!!!! Here we see that the test rate and the case rate do NOT track.
    https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/testing/individual-states

South Dakota has a positivity rate of 52%. Hospitalizations nationwide just hit an all time high. And that lags the case rate by a month. We are looking at 3000 deaths a day in a few weeks.

The 1000-1400 deaths a day or so we are seeing now comes from the 66,000 cases a day a month ago.

The Dakotas are going to be digging a lot of graves for all of those free spirits.

Just as Trump needs to be held to account., when Biden takes over...........the same should apply to him as well..

Leaders work for the people who voted for them. and the entire population they serve. Some tend to forget that. . Power can be destructive .......and abused very easily. in the wrong personality.

Many of the hospitals in the land are all or almost to capacity. Imagine a hospital posting a "NO VACANCY" sign like a motel. It would be easier checking into a Motel 6 than the county hospital. It would real hard to check into the hospital with a injury, heart attack or stroke, or any other ailments. There would be many that are going to be turned away because there is no vacancy at the hospitals. It doesn't look like it's going to get any better anytime soon. So there you have it. Stay well for now.

    Naw.
I didn't say they tracked. I said you were misled by thinking a lot of the increase in cases was not from increased testing.
    upload_2020-11-14_13-52-59.png

Use percent positives. It takes out the testing problem.
In about 3 weeks the 7 day moving average will be about 1300 deaths.

What the hell is going on over there? It's absolutely tragic that you're just letting this happen.

We've virtually eradicated the virus in my country, in the same period of time that you guys have let it go berserk.

    Its the Republican Way!

Everyone on their own and take whatever you can get!

I can't count the number of Republicans I know here in California and tge West complained over water daily housing usage limits, saying that even that who has the money can get all they want, and regular people can't have any.

That philosophy works for many things, but not for survival for all.

Yeah, I don't think it has anything to do with personal politics. There are a number of Conservative Govts (and peoples) in the world who've done it right.

What you have is a problem of culture, and a Govt which is too cowardly to shut the nation down in the interests of the nation. Biden isn't going to shut it down either, if that's what you're expecting.

Nope. Not at all. The link is to a Washington Post editorial -- hardly a crackpot hotbed. The point is simply a reminder that there's still a lot of work to do.

The death toll of the Coronavirus is still rising like it did in March. This is unacceptable. Hospitals were filling up and it's happening again and the holiday season is coming on so fast that there isn't much that can stop it. COVID-19 could stop tradition but how much of it and for how long? This is serious people and it needs to be stop and we must still need to do our part. But there are those that don't want to follow the rules like in South Dakota and a governor that favors Trump and there are others that do. Trump For Your Information will be out of there in a little over two months because Biden is the official winner no matter what anyone else says and that's a fact. There you have it. The facts, simple as that.

Not at bit. As a matter of science, and future response, there remain important questions to answer.
