It's a national publication and her first interview after being appointed so it was given knowing it would be given national scrutiny. And she had no problem using that kind a language representing her transitioning with the Biden administration and how she is going to "bring everyone together".

Has Biden fired her yet? Has he issued a statement refuting her?

I wasn't happy with Trump as prez - something I said repeatedly - so I wasn't pleased with the rest of the admin either, and thought we'd had better first ladies as well. I think I'd called him a lech enough times, I sorta figured it would explain what I thought about whoever he was with. How I felt wasn't exactly a secret here, although I didn't discuss her much - I kinda felt she was unimportant in the overall scheme of things. But I guess the First Lady is on some kinda equal footing with the VP now?
