Biden doesn't need to prove anything to a "bunch of f---ers" who refuse to admit he won the election.

Unity with people who want it, not with people who don't.

    Exactly.

To the Winner goes the spoils, the rest is sour grapes.

    Elections have consequences, etc.

    Non-sequitur try again

And you yelling at your kids certainly equates to the Deputy Chief Staff to the President Elect calling the loyal opposition an extremely derogatory name in a national magazine interview. Is this the new norm, MTVland?

I don’t get the mtv land reference. And again I’d argue you voted for the new norm, this is tame compared to the last 4 years.

Absolutely. She needs to be removed.
If unity is the desired goal. And I hope it is.
I know the hardcore election fraud crowd will never ever unify. But maybe half the trump voters can be reasonable.

    You have 3 years then.

There is ZERO Chance that Biden's WIN will be overturned.

It won't ever get overturned. It will never show there was fraud that had any effect on the results. And those that think there was enough fraud are not in any way, shape, or form, about unity. Ever.

Which is not really "unity" at all. What you're describing is just the standard old partisanship we've seen for years from Washington.

Refusing to acknowledge opponent's presidency is not the standard old partisanship we've seen for years.

Unity with people who want it, not with people who don't.
If you refuse to acknowledge Biden's winning, if you continue to cry fraud and cheat with no evidence as Republicans have done for more than a month, you don't want unity and you are not the target audience of the message.

Well, I was only here for four years of it - I do remember the LW here often throwing the race card if someone disagreed with Obama.

But on the other hand, I also don't remember anyone on the RW here using the same lines over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again when discussing Obama. We may have disagreed with him but I think we did it far more civilly than the equivalent of "P-grabber EEK p-grabber EEK". For the record, the guy who yelled "Liar" during one of his speeches - I woulda slapped him but I'm just a commoner here. But I digress - I mean - you've been here for it, you've seen the same damned lines used again and again like some record with a scratch. Anyone who can dish it out for that long can certainly take it just as long.

And then you have people who rose above that. I've said this too - I debate at the level of the person I'm debating with.

As far as Gore - well, PF didn't exist then so I guess we'll never know. Woulda been fun to go over threads that existed back then to see.

Birther, never ended. It still exists today. Then, when Barak wasn't enough, MOOchelle was often the topic.
Debating at the level of the person is pretty typical.
I use it. I like to use a posters words, from the opposite position.

All summer long it was basement Joe, but mostly dementia.
But dementia won. It beat an incumbent president. Just the 11th time in USA history an incumbent lost. It is very very difficult for an incumbent to lose.

Oh yeah. I do too - it maybe helps me that I remember stuff like what someone said years ago easy. I think it has to do with being a teacher and having to remember huge numbers of names and such in ridiculously short amounts of time. It's like I get memory training every day. But the thing was, MOOchelle well, how often did we get tRump? It got dull. I don't even remember if Melania got a lot of flak here because - I mean, I never paid any real attention to her or what was said about her. But the problem is ...

... I dunno if you remember way back in 2008, but Joe had issues then too with him saying some cray-cray stuff. And it's always been on the backs of some people's minds about him. The stuff he was doing during THIS election cycle confirmed it. But even this is a digression.

It really didn't bother me a whole lot that Trump wasn't liked by the LW. Kinda expected, right? And he gave the LW AND the RW plenty of ammunition. We even had a poster here call himself "covfefe" I think? I don't think he's here anymore, at least under that name. And I had no real problem with people having a problem with Trump. I had problems with him. But my issue is with the people who used the same phrases again and again and again. No imagination. Well, I have no problem throwing their own (lack of) argumentative style back at them - seems they already don't like it. Sucks to be them.

Meanwhile - EgoBoy, Yardmeat, Gamewell, Jonsa - whatever happened to Jonsa? - you, buncha others - you guys had major problems with Trump but never trolled the forum doing so. I respect that even if we'll never agree more than once a year here.

Trump lost because - well, look - had COVID not happened, I think he would have won. Maybe not by much, but his odds would have been better. The economy would have been hella stronger, and Biden would not have been able to compete against that. More to the point, given that COVID is here, Trump basically lost more than Biden won. Kinda the reverse of 2016, where I don't think Trump won so much as Hilla lost.

    Dems don’t want unity.

which is fine, they are going to lose in the long run once emotions simmer down and reason returns to people.

short term gains for long term loses

Are you forgetting Democrats spent years trying to impeach Trump for Russian collusion then when that failed they impeached him on other unrelated charges that were completely partisan in nature.

And you have the gall to claim Republicans aren’t accepting this election? Are you mad, man:)
