Yet another investigation fails to turn up evidence of the 'Deep State plot' against Trump, to which Trumpers will reply that the lack of evidence merely proves the depth of the conspiracy. Meanwhile repeated investigations have shown Russian intereference in the 2016 election - even GOPers in Congress have had to admit it. If anyone wants the simplest possible illustration of the light speed retreat from reality of the Trump cult these facts & their die hard refusal to accept them fit the bill nicely.

I agree. He thinks he might rehabilitate his shredded reputation by standing up for the rule of law now, but he’s a dollar short and a day late. Anyone who worked for trump and is still trying to polish his turds about the election deserves to have their reputation destroyed. We won’t forget about Barr, Pompeo, and the rest of the sewer rats who have worked to enable trump and his seditious attempts to destroy our democracy.
Well I couldn't help to notice the vague obtuseness of the headline, "AG Barr Reveals No Spy Agency Misconduct in Russia Probe." Considering the vast majority of the misconduct has been about the FBI, why couldn't they just "CIA" in the headline since that was the actual agency they were talking about? Of course the reason is rather self evident as you can see from this thread. It provides an inaccurate talking point:
The CIA's job is to collect intelligence from overseas. The FBI is tasked with counter espionage. So Barr's finding is not in the least bit surprising. The offense against our democracy was committed by Comey and his minions at the top of the FBI.
