Likes for the data. My gut instinct as to the Asians is partly because they largely land on the west coast where everything is artificially inflated in terms of income. A lot of immigrants, perhaps because of --isms, work their way toward owning businesses and the like. I know 5 immigrants from Pakistan who own convenience stores now who started off in NYC driving cabs 16-18 hours a day and living in one and two bedroom apartments that basically rented beds by the hour to immigrants so many people were in and out of them. I also know that 4 of those 5 immigrants play fast and loose with tax laws so they are able to accumulate capital to invest more quickly when they are not paying taxes on big chunks of it.
