Anyone with a brain for many reasons.

    (1) What happened to the Trillion $$$ given to Barack Obama for "infrastructure"? It's not really a question.
    (2) This is hardly "infrastructure", but reads more like a Democratic Party pay off.
    (3) Kids in the future who don't want to be saddled with an insolvent nation due to massive needless debt.

I assume you can provide links to all the post of you complaining about the national debt added by Trump...right?

    Or how about just one?

When taxes were cut 3 years ago prices did not go down, jobs were not added and just about no company moved back to the US.

Why is it that lowering taxes has none of the good impact you say raising them will have a negative effect on?

    Really?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No-sh...s a form of political or corporate corruption.

The New York Times has written: "The no-show job has long played a central role in the annals of crime and corruption in New York, offering an efficient way for crooked politicians, union officials, mobsters and all manner of miscreants to funnel kickbacks and bribes to friends, family members, business associates and even themselves."[1] Philip Carlo, in his biography of Anthony "Gaspipe" Casso, writes that no-show jobs are "a classic Mafia setup" and that such positions were highly prized among mobsters.[2] A 2012 report of the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor found that "no-show jobs held by relatives of mobsters and other well-connected people continue to vex government officials trying to make the ports more efficient and more competitive."[3]

In the past, no-show jobs were also an aspect of corruption in Boston[4] and Chicago.[5]

The Harris and sleepy Joe presidency already is such unmitigated disaster, the full extend of which we’re just now beginning to grasp.

    Missed President Trump yet?

So, they are part of organized crime. And you somehow think that expands to all union folks?

Get out of the 1920, those days are done.

    1) Obama was never given trillions for infrastructure. Thats part of the reason we are having to take care of this now.
    2) Infrastructure isn't just roads, its also pipes, houses, and other physical assets.
    3) But Trump proposed spending the same amount on infrastructure, and he didn't even propose any ways to pay for it.

Concerning #2, the organizations I am associated with are diligently lobbying the Democrats in the federal government to include special regulations to limit the competition in portions of the proposed "green" infrastructure. So yes, big donations to the DNC just might result in a competitive edge and getting a big payoff from the infrastructure deal, and this will be at the expense of the taxpayer.

Well said! If any of these unctuous Democrat hypocrites cared anything about miserably unfair tax policies in this country, they'd have used their power to re-write the U.S. Tax Code FROM SCRATCH long ago....

And who's fault is that? It isn't mine. Nor yours. Look to your politicians for that. They're the ones that gave them all the subsidies and tax breaks. Pretty sure Biden was part of that since he did serve as a Senator for 36 years up until he became vice president in '09.

That is some convoluted logic. As you yourself note...it was politicians that gave corporations tax breaks, subsidies etc etc. Not The People. Therefore if they're not having to "pony up their fair share of the cost" its because of politicians. Not The People.

How much of Biden's infrastructure money will be spent on "make work" jobs in West VA to buy Joe Manchin's vote on various issues that are not popular in WV. Make work being things like paying union coal miners to fill in existing coal mines rather than mine coal. Biden has 16 Billion proposed for this.

Look for Manchin to be fed a steady diet of pork.

Totally agree. And its time to fix that by either raising taxes on them or closing loopholes. At least the democrats are doing something in the right direction here.

What if they paid no tax because their expenses and investments where more than their income? That is why those companies don't pay any or pay little. You know Amazon is NOT a high profit company one reason is because they have been expanding for years now, building new hubs, investing in new equipment and yes paying wages, good wages. Because of some of that growth they have lost carry overs and that lowers their tax the next year. It seems "loophole" is some dirty word and means corporations are doing something nefarious by using every single deduction allowed. Every citizen and business should absolutely take every single penny of deduction.

Every good economic time has been when capital is left in the market to grow the economy increasing employment and the number of taxpayers. Biden believes that HE can better invest that money and we see how every time goverment tries to do on these scales it fails. Government is NOT a good manager of business and the economy it does best when it lower the cost of doing business and gets out of the way, we ALL benefit more.

You asked for 'examples of those “exemptions and loopholes” the rich lobbied for?' I provided 10. Did you read them?
