Trump pushed for us to get out of Afghanistan. Mike Pompeo negotiated a deal. Then, Trump was removed from office and Joe Biden took over. Thereafter, Trump was out of the equation.

As an analogy, it's as if Trump and Pompeo bought the ingredients for a big cookout and then Biden and company badly burned the food and now people want to blame Trump.

You make it sound as though getting the military equipment back is easy. You do know the Taliban has around 80K soldiers, right? once the Afghan military collapsed and the Taliban took possession of the equipment did you think they'd just hand it back? You don't appreciate the monumental task you expected the US to accomplish with a diminished force level.

This isn't our longest war, we are still at war with North Korea. We have had troops there preserving the stalemate for 70 years. If we abruptly pulled them out, Seul would likely be promptly attacked and could even fall.

I was very surprised by and happy by his first two SCOTUS picks, and while I had my doubts about the 3rd seems they might have been misplaced.

I supported his revamping of Fed Employee Regs making it easier to get rid of dead weight in the Fed Govt workforce.

I supported his stated desire to get out of endless wars

Just to name a few, but I am not going to pretend the world did not laugh at him just to make you happy
