If you define “woman” as a gender that is optional for a person of any sex then trans people are correct. A trans woman IS a woman. If that is the case, a penis can be a woman’s sex organ.

Because it's ALL misogyny. This comes from the sort of men who have never adjusted to sexual equality, and are simply finding new ways to regain control over women (and the connected entitlement to 'rape', metaphorically and actually). Since this demographic doesn't belong to religious or cultural groups which allow them to dominate in traditional ways, they've had to be more cunning. Having said that, I doubt some of them even recognise this in themselves.

If they don't recognise it, it's because they are men. Men tend to be emotionally shallow compared to the complexity and depth of women. The idea that a man can throw on a dress and make a declaration and suddenly have the marvelous complexity of a XX woman is ridiculous and all reasonable people know this. If these bastards are trying to bully women into sex against their will, hopefully the women will stand their ground and tell them to go to hell. And if they push past that and commit an assault, we as a society need to hold them accountable, and if incarceration is called for, the time needs to be served in a men's prison, though sleeping quarters with other XY trans is probably the best way to protect them from assaults while they serve their time.

 

Clearly straight women are therefore just gay men lacking penises, and any gay man that disagrees is a discriminatory bigot.

 

I can't agree that men are 'emotionally shallow'. That's not been my experience at all.

I do however, agree that there is a SECTOR of men who are damaged in some way, and cannot tolerate equality. And they know that when it comes to gaining 'permission' to practice their misogyny, they only need to make it about sex to have the full support of the Progressive Left. Even when their misogyny drivers are unconscious, they still seek the path of least resistance.

As for the women who support them .. I liken them to those who had gay BFFs in the 80's, and were secretely in love with them. Handbags, we used to call them. These 'trans-accepting feminists' are just the modern iteration of that same type of immature man pleaser - who don't have sufficient self-esteem, or care for their sisters, to put women first.

 

There is also the open question of what trans actually means.

I have met plenty of Thai Ladyboys (what they call themselves there) who are born with a penis and who identify as women. They recognize that they are a special case, and that they are not the same as women born with vaginas. They would never demand to play in women's sports or take offence if women don't want to shower with them, or if men don't want to have sex with them, etc.

And they would probably get along fine with most TERFs, except those TERFs who are down right bigots, who do also exist.

 

Given the increasing reports of women and girls being raped in what used to be called the ladies room, I'd say for every actual transsexual there are about dozen asshats willing to pretend to be women in order to gain private access to women and girls at a moment when they malresdy be a best semi dressed.

 

WHY do such a tiny, TINY, group think they have the say-so over what ANYONE chooses to do sexually!?! Why WOULD a lesbian, by the VERY DEFINITION, want to be involved with a chemically and surgically created NON-WOMAN...and endlessly parroting "but they are too" will never, EVER change that fact......until they can transplant a man's brain into a woman's body and vice versa they will NEVER be that which they believe themselves to be......WAAAAAAAY PAST TIME TO PUT 'EM ON "IGNORE"!

It's not that I don't like the commie reference, it is that I prefer things to be called correctly. Woke might be collectivist, but not always, many of them are regular capitalist (with welfare state). I'm not appreciative as using words such "fascist" or "communist" in an abusive manner.
