I think it's brilliant. I'm not sure where, in United Airlines' mask policy, it says that what he's wearing doesn't qualify as a mask.

IMO the wearing of masks in the cabin is a large factor in the many fights and altercations that happen on today's flights.

The problem is the nine folks you can reach out and touch while still seatbelted. If I can smell their perfume and cologne, I assume I'm also inhaling any virus that they are exhaling before it goes through these super scrubbers. The super scrubbers are nice though as they prevent the virus load from building throughout the trip as happens in normal indoor HVAC
