In Defense of White People

I can't find anyone actually pushing for CRT (like the real CRT) be taught in our schools. It's all a fringe right boogeyman so that any time race is mentioned in a history class in a way they don't like, they can cry about it and threaten school officials.

 

Tell me. Why are whites all across the world being asked to check their privileges? Why is the conversation of reparations being pushed? Why are whites always asked to recognize our wrongs when they refuse to admit our rights? The idea it’s just a few is absurdly wrong.

 

Who said white people are the "devil incarnate", and when did they say it? I've personally never heard anyone say this.

I am sure, though, that the usual race baiters BELIEVE that everyone who is not a racist thinks that they are the devil incarnate. Now, where could this wrong belief come from? Could it be that RW news outlets feed them this kind of belief on a daily basis?

 

There's a world of difference between "check your privilege" and that video. Do you really need someone to explain something this ****ing simple? Your argument is just absurdly wrong.

 

I’m guessing you didn’t see the videos of the teachers who are very upset about not being allowed to teach CRT. A lot of people seem to be quite angry at parents because those parents don’t want schools to teach something they say they aren’t teaching.

 

I've seen videos of idiots trying to characterize any kind of race being mentioned in a history class in a way that they don't like as "CRT" and then trying to outlaw that. I've seen teachers complain about that idiocy. Is that what you are talking about?

Fun fact: teaching basic history facts that involve race isn't "CRT." I thought you guys cared about "erasing history"? Funny how quickly you change your tune.

 

70% of black children are born out-of-wedlock. Under those circumstances, I think black people are doing better than you'd expect. Time for the "unprivileged" to seek the problem internally.

 

These people in the video are not ahead of the check your privilege crowd. Or even the BLM crowd who ran rampant across the country demanding basically everything from your house to your apology, and your money. I can pull up all those facts if you would like.

There is a big difference between "check your privilege" and "you owe the world an apology for being white." Anyone with two braincells to rub together can see that.

 

If these people represent BLM, etc, then white supremacists represent Trump supporters. You ready to accept that?

So if a dozen BLM people do something that means that all of BLM supports it? You might want to spend more time thinking about this before committing to it.

 

Why does teaching ‘history’ start and stop with whites people being the villains? How come history doesn’t teach about the evil atrocities and enslavement of people by American Indians? When it comes to your average every day slave, why don’t schools teach who captured and sold them to us? That’s an important part of history, wouldn’t you agree?

And if you guys cared about history so much, why are you tearing down statues, banning books, and rewriting history because of feelings? Feelings aren’t historical facts.

I'm unware of any class that doesn't, but that's also just a common reactionary dodge. MOST OF THE SLAVES IN THIS COUNTRY WERE BORN HERE, NOT SOLD TO US FROM ABROAD.

I've opposed tearing down statues and banning books and rewriting history. But no one has done more to rewrite/hide history in this country than the "lost cause" movement, which you guys celebrate.

You think this is isolated? Another woman posted to a Facebook page that if whites don’t have family to pass land down to they should give it to blacks. This is not isolated. People used to argue that reparation demands were isolated yet they’re studying it in congress. If you stay blind to this you’ll see it come one day.

 

There are people in this thread that thought a post about blacks back in chains is good idea and like that post.

 

"But I found another isolated anecdote!" does not show that it isn't isolated. If we were to use your standard, I'd have to assume that the Republican party is just controlled by Nazis. After all, I can find anecdotes!
