Worked in Virginia. Most Whites are turned off by the victim mentality, especially that of black people.
How interesting, but we are talking about whiny whites who play the victim. I think its a losing strategy, but clearly you think playing the victim is the way to do, and yet at the same time you admit people are turned off by it when the same is done by blacks.
Well you see White people don't want to play the victim, so they fight back as in Virginia. Expect more of the same as you insult people with legitimate complaints
They do play the victim, and you think its working like a charm. Heck, they are creating laws to criminalize speech which makes them feel "uncomfortable". Its a turn-off.
Congratulations! You are finally getting it! The US is not a racist country and you are just digging in the graveyard of history.
I never claimed skin color is a race. In fact I often say there's only 1 race, the human reace. But the country did treat black skin people horrible. Put them in chains. Discriminated against them. Made them use separate bathrooms, schools, neighborhoods, drinking fountains, etc. Just because it's not racism doesn't mean the country has put those with black skin in very horrible situations and discriminated against them. I thought you would have figured that out. Did you not?
Since you’re going to lie to everybody and refuse to post the context of my comments. Then I’ll do it for you. This was the original post that started the convo. Don’t ****ing sit here and lie to people and pretend my comment came out of nowhere and it wasn’t predicated upon some lefty saying white people should be discriminated against and oppressed. oh and by the way here was your comment about his post: “If this is the exchange you refer to, I can't say. I don't know Cybreds intent other than perhaps a little fun trolling. If it was just trolling, no, it's not racist.” Just a little trolling right? Even AFTER he told everyone he wasn’t joking and you STILL didn’t condemn his statements. So again please spare me your faux outrage over my comments. Thanks.
Playing the victim works within the hard core base, but most people don't appreciate the victim mentality, especially when they are just whining about hurt feelings. Having said that, it has worked in places like 1930s Germany, but their situation was quite different from ours. "...voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country" Hermann Goering Their feelings.
Let me illustrate to you why we have a problem. Can you name ONE government policy or program that is explicitly discriminatory against blacks in place today? I can name multiple government policies or programs that explicitly discriminate against whites today. Which is the more important issue to address? Explicit government Discrimination against blacks from 50+ years ago or explicit government discrimination against whites that occurs today? Now which one do we as a society spend INFINITELY more hours on?
Answer: Snow-flake laws like the one passed in FL addresses neither. They only criminalize speech. Are you pro-censorship?
The ones which are designed to criminalize speech which might make people feel uncomfortable over certain issues, and the other one which will criminalize speech about sexuality. Now even private companies need to review their material to make sure they are not taken to court because they accidentally made someone feel uncomfortable. Its going to backfire, because people will pretend to feel uncomfortable just so they can sue a corporation. These are snow-flake laws. If there are laws / government policies or programs that explicitly discriminate against whites today, then they need to be addressed in some other way, but censorship is not the solution.
No it’s not. The law (I think you’re referring to) in Florida does not criminalize speech on homosexuality. It says that the SCHOOL DISTRICT cannot encourage that discussion in the classroom. In other words they can’t make it a required part of their lesson planning for teachers. It says NOTHING about what the individual teachers can talk about. It DOES say if they’re going to talk about sensitive issues with peoples children the parents have to be forewarned. I don’t see the problem.
Same difference. I see a problem with government imposed censorship especially when its done for such stupid reasons, but obviously you support it. Its gonna backfire. "Support your local thought police" 1984
He's asking you to name one government policy or law is specifically discriminates against black people that's in place today now either you can do that or you cannot it's okay to admit that you cannot
Can you quote me arguing there are such laws? You have a habit of arguing against statements no one has made.
It was a question he asked you are you confused about it? You obviously do not have the ability to answer that such a single thing exists. But there are government programs that specifically discriminate against whites farm loans for instance. So-called equal opportunity employment laws is another.
