how about this as an alternative... At the end of last year Chinese agricultural analysts were worried about the potential wheat yield. They were right; China has just recorded the worst wheat harvest in its history and as the soil conditions deteriorate event more the prospects for the next harvest is not that great either. China is one of the world's largest wheat consumers and with Putin's war threatening Chinese food security and its wheat imports (and fertilizer imports as well!!) it remains diplomatically ambivalent. China hasn't actually said anything really that would threaten the relationship, however, the fact is China couldn't give a rats crap about Russia and its war with Ukraine. Its doing what China always does, it plays the long game whilst in the short term makes diplomatic noises that Putin thinks are positive but really China is just being pragmatic and guarding its food supplies.

 

You are absolutely correct. Once Russian tanks reach Poland --- again ---- NATO could
fire those missiles. And not with 'impunity' because Poland itself will cease to exist when
Russia fires its own missiles. There's no impunity in war - but those NATO missiles temper
Russian ambitions of empire.

 

But Russia is not out to seize Ukraine, although in the end they might have to considering Zalensky's actions. All Russia wanted was for Ukraine to stop attacking and killing the people in Donetsk and Lugansk for wanting to maintain their own Russian language rather than the dialect of Western Ukraine.

Do you think that if the German speaking people in Switzerland were to impose their language on the Italian and French speaking areas, and then began attacking and killing them, that Italy and France would not go to their rescue? I don't!

Confirmed Russian tank losses now measure 597 units. That's almost exactly 25% of their pre-war operational strength which, as has been noted previously also represents their most modern and best equipped tanks. Crew losses are proportional with reports coming in of some tanks being operated by less than their full crews due to a critical shortage of trained staff.

The above losses don't include tanks still in Russian hands but currently undergoing repair. Losses of other key mobile assets are mounting apace.

Wasn’t that obvious? Russians seem to make that myth a bigger deal than Ukrainians. It was said multiple times by Ukrainian ministry of defense that the “ghost” is actually a team of pilot fighters from a local air field.

 

It wasn't from Russian sources that I heard about this guy or the one that sank submarines without any gear. It was from our social media platforms.

 

I’ve seen it too. But I also closely follow Ukrainian ministry of defense and commander of Ukrainian Air Force and they posted disputes to claims about the “ghost of kyiv” since the end of February. I remember them posting these disputes at least twice.
And who sank what submarines? I don’t remember such reports and seriously doubt Ukraine has any capability to target subs.

 

Its almost like a platform like twitter pumping misinformation or false narratives is dangerous...isnt it?
