Really I think that the more obvious failing in your post is that non-citizens obviously have some rights too (we don't, for example, subject Canadians living here to unreasonable searches either), which makes your insistence on emphasizing citizenship both weird and incorrect.

The whole court argument is that this issue falls to the State. So any federal judgement one way or the other will be unconstitutional.

Body autonomy is no business of anyone but the body’s owner. That includes suicide, drugs, abortion, and the rest.

The constitution doesn’t grant the federal government the authority over abortions. It’s a states issue

Way to miss the point. it’s MY body. Government, at any level, has no legitimate voice. It’s my life to live.

It’s a different body and DNA you would be destroying. So I would argue it’s not your body at all

Your bodily autonomy argument hasn't been the law of the land ... well .. probably ever, but certainly not while Roe has been in force. The courts have long recognized that the states have an interest in protecting the life of the unborn child later in a pregnancy, "bodily autonomy" notwithstanding.

Are you male? If so, did you register with the Selective Service System?

    .

And YOU erroneously said women had to endure the use of a rape kit and I showed you to be WRONG.

How else are the fiends going to prove the woman had an abortion?

They'll probably want to make it a public viewing..

Would you apply your bodily autonomy argument to drunk driving? "My body, my choice"?

Saying "how else" and "probably" are NOT evidence. You understand that, right?

    HUH ?

The entirety of Roe was the privacy over her own body

Have you ever actually read the Roe v Wade decision? Even the first few paragraphs? Here it is:

source: Jane ROE, et al., Appellants, v. Henry WADE. | Supreme Court | US Law | LII / Legal Information Institute (cornell.edu)

Even in the halcyon days of 1973, the courts recognized that women did not have an unlimited right to abortion whenever they want. In other words, the state has power to "infringe" on their "privacy" / "bodily autonomy", even under the rubric established by Roe. Were you aware of that?

So now you're trying to qualify what I said.

Roe was about on the right to privacy of her own body. THAT is what gave her the right to have the abortion even in the qualified laws.

I don't think that's what I'm doing. I was supporting my assertion that: The courts have long recognized that the states have an interest in protecting the life of the unborn child later in a pregnancy, "bodily autonomy" notwithstanding.

Roe conferred a limited right to abortions. The basis the justices offered for that conference was a mythical "right to privacy" found not in the text of the Constitution, but emanating from the penumbras of it. I think we probably agree on that, but that wasn't really the point of my post. I was making it clear to those who want to shout "bodily autonomy", that that has never been a basis for the limited right to abortions conferred by Roe. If it were, there'd be no basis for allowing states to prohibit late-term abortions. If "bodily autonomy" were the basis for the right, why would it suddenly vanish in the third trimester?

Yes. Hated by those who rightly fear the return of the MAGA King. Trump's story will be the modern day embodiment of what Joseph Campbell called the "Hero's Journey." Given the alignment of Trump to this archetypal myth described by Campbell and the corresponding archetype describe by Carl Jung, it now appears that Trump is destined to overcome the evil forces of "progressive" liberalism and become the next President. So keep promoting Trump and the return of the MAGA king in every thread regardless of subject. :salute:

If you people want to talk about Trump, the MAGA king in every thread, I will be more than happy to talk about Trump.
